'They're here', Jalen Fraser said, 'and you were right, he's mixed race'

He looked at the six foot, muscular built man. Terrell Ross was in his early forties, however he could easily pass for being in his twenties.

Terrell pondered this for a moment. Taylor Wyman could be a useful accomplice. 'How many of them are there?'

              'Around a dozen'

              'Any of them white?'

'No, a few mixed race ones and a few females'

Terrell looked at his good friend, he was like a brother to him. They both shared a commonality, that they were fortunate, in view of recent developments, to no longer hide. They possessed a deep routed prejudice against white people. What they didn't share was their sexist views. Jalen had a very antiquated view of what a woman should be like, restricting her to bringing up the family, cleaning and preparing the meals. Terrell loved the idea that women were able to achieve the same as a man and were therefore more useful to him.

Terrell ignore his statement and continued the line of conversation which was more pertinent. 'We'll have to only make use of them on stage one and then release them again. Even with stage one there may be a chance we could loose them before we start'

            Jalen nodded.

'Tell them to come in', Terrell said walking to the window and looking out on the industrial estate.

Jalen nodded again. He turned and left the office, shutting the door behind him.

Terrell walked over to a side table and poured some water into a glass. He heard the knock on the door, before he brought the drink to his mouth. He gulped down the water before answering.

Jalen entered with Taylor Wayman, Marcus Goodridge and Leroy Benn following.

Terrell walked over to them shaking each of their hands as they all introduced themselves.

'I was expecting to meet with Mr Adrian', Taylor said, releasing his hand.

'Of course you were', Terrell replied. 'Take a seat gentlemen', Terrell directed them to a large wooden table with six chair around it.

Both Marcus and Leroy looked to Taylor and followed his direction, as he reluctantly took one of the seats. Jalen sat down with them. Terrell remained standing.

'Will Mr Adrian be joining us?', Taylor asked, a little more nervous than when he first entered the building. There was something about Terrell that demanded authority, without asking for it or forcing it onto people.

'Mr Adrian is otherwise occupied. You must understand, Mr Wayman...or may I call you Taylor?'

            'Taylor is fine'

Terrell nodded and smiled at him, although there was nothing genuine about his smile. Taylor made the decision, he would not trust this man.

'Well Taylor. You must understand that, if Mr Adrian was going to deal with anyone, it would have been Madu Obinna. Incidentally, we were very sorry to here of his demise. In fact, it is only in respect of Mr Obinna that we are considering letting you get involved in our retribution'.
