Chapter 7: A new partner?

Moe's POV

I was sitting on my bed, trying to meditate and calm down. It's kind of hard when you have two idiots fighting outside my door. "Shut the fuck up! I'll sacrifice you to Jashin you bastard!" Hidan yelled. I could hear Tobi running towards my room, making me sigh. I didn't feel like talking to anybody right now. I have a lot on my mind. 

Tobi ran through my room then put some kind of jutsu so Hidan couldn't come in. I sighed as Tobi turned towards me, "Hi Moe-chan!" he yelled walking over to me. "Hey Tobi-kun." I replied. He sat in front of me and tilted his head to the side, "What's wrong sempai?" he asked. I ran my hands down my face and looked at my ceiling, "Just some personal stuff Tobi-kun. Don't worry about it." I told him. He nodded and stood up, "Okay sempai! Oh Leader-sama wants to talk to you!" He shouted and took the jutsu off my door. He looked out my door and ran away. I sighed and got up, 'Milady.' I jumped at the voice.

'Shit Mika, where have you been?!' I yelled in my mind. She gave me a nervous grin, 'Hehe, sorry Milady, I've been busy.' she muttered back to me. I sighed and shook my head, 'Well you missed a lot of drama. I need to talk to you later okay?' I told her. She nodded, 'I also have to talk to you Milady.' she replied. I sighed and walked to Dad's office. I knocked on the door and waited for his approval. I heard him call me in and I opened the door, "What do you need D-" I stopped talking when I saw a guy standing in Dad's office.

I looked at him, observing him a little. He was quite handsome. He had dark blue hair that came to his eyes, he was tan and tall. I looked into his eyes and saw that they were different from each other. I looked at Dad, "Who's this?" I asked. He looked up from his paperwork and eyed me causiously, "This is your new partner." he told me. I blinked a few times, "What?! But I work with Itachi-kun and Kisa-kun!" I shouted.

The guy next to me chuckled, "Aye, I'm not that bad." he said facing me. He held his hand out to me, "The name's Daisuke. What's your name darling?" he asked, flashing a cute smile at me. I blushed lightly, "Moe. Moe Uzumaki." I told him. He noticed I wasn't going to shake his hand and dropped it with a chuckle. Dad watched us with an amused look on his face, "Well, Moe, you two need to go train to get to know each others abilities." he said urging us out. I sighed and walked out with Daisuke, "Follow me." I said walking down the hallway.

"Moe!!!" I heard Deidara's voice echo. I turned my head to see him walk up to me. "Hey Dei-kun." I gave him a small smile. He smirked and wrapped an arm around my shoulder, "Wanna come train?" he asked. I sighed, "I can't, I have a new partner." I said, pointing at Daisuke. Deidara looked at him and glared slightly, "Alright then, maybe some other time Moe. I'll see you later." he said giving me a grin and leaving. I turned and continued walking down the hallway. Daisuke got into step with me and chuckled, "When do I get -kun added to my name?" he asked with a smirk.

"Never." I said opening the training room door. I giggled when his smirk faltered. He walked in the room and looked around, "This looks more like a torture room." he commented looking around. I shrugged, "You get used to it after a while." I told him. He looked at me, "Have you trained in here before?" he asked. I giggled and looked in his eyes, "Who's blood do you think is everywhere?" I asked. His eyes widened as he looked at all the blood, "All this is yours?" he asked.

I nodded, "I was trained by the Akatsuki since I was about twelve. They've trained me to be the best assassin in the world. They're like my new family ya'know?" I looked at him. He gave me a soft smile, "I'm guessing you don't have family?" he asked. A frown made its way on my face, "I actually have an older twin brother. Naruto Uzumaki." I told him, looking down sadly. I heard him walk over to me, "Aye beautiful, don't be so sad. I bet you love him a lot don't ya?" he asked. I nodded, still looking down. No matter how hard I try, I can't forget my brother.

Daisuke pulled my chin up, making me look at him in the eyes. He stared into my eyes while I was being mesmorized by his. I felt his breath hit my face as he said, "Don't try and forget your family Moe." he said with a small smile. "H-How did you-" I went to ask. "I can read minds." he smirked. I blushed lightly and he laughed at me. "D-Don't laugh! It's n-not funny!" I yelled at him. It amazed me how easy it was for him to make me stutter. He smirked again, "It's the charm." I mentally  facepalmed. I forgot he could read minds.

He chuckled and took a few steps back. I looked up at him and saw him smirk, "You ready to train?" he asked me. I smirked and nodded, "Don't hold back." I told him. With that we flashed to each other.

I walked into Dad's office and he looked up at me, "Well, how did your training go?" he asked. I shrugged, "He's pretty good. Where'd you find him?" I asked. I saw Dad's eyes get nervous, something I've never seen before. "What is it Dad?" I asked standing in front of his desk. He sighed, "He's actually a jinchurriki like you." he said looking up at me. My eyes widened slightly, "What? But I thought-" I stopped talking when Dad put his hand up. "He is the Juuichibi's jinchurriki."

I grinned, "No wonder he kept up with me." I told him. Dad gave me an amused look, and held a scroll out to me. "I'm glad you like him. Here's your first mission together." he told me. I nodded and took it while walking towards the door. I grabbed the knob, "Moe... Please be careful." I heard him say. I gave him a small smile, "Of course Dad." I said and left. I walked down the hallway to the living room. Everyone from Akatsuki was sitting on the couch or sitting at the table playing poker.

A smile grew on my face as I walked to the kitchen to grab a water bottle. Everybody thinks that Akatsuki is bad, but they're actually a bunch of softies when you get to know them. I grabbed a bottle of water and saw Daisuke walk in the room. I walked over and handed him the scroll, "Get packing, we leave soon." I said and walked down to my room. I heard him walking behind me and I glanced at him over my shoulder, "Uh, why you following me?" I asked. He smiled at me, "I'm staying with you in your room since we're partners."

I sighed and opened my door, "Whatever." I said grabbing my katana. I strapped it to my back and grab my kunai pouch, tying it around my leg. I grabbed another mask and put it in my bag while pulling a cloak out of the closet. I put my cloak on and turned toward Daisuke, "You ready to go?" I asked. He nodded and we walked out to the front together. "So we're going to Konoha?" he asked. I nodded and kept walking with a blank look on my face.

I don't know if I'm ready to see everyone. I sighed and pulled my hood up, "Let's go." I said running. 'I hope I can keep my emotions in while I'm there.'
