Chapter 12: Itachi and Sasuke meet

Hey guys, here's a wayyyyy over due chapter. Hope you like it~

Moe's POV

I woke up in a bed by myself. I looked around to see myself in a small bedroom and I pushed the blankets off of me. I noticed my legs were showing and looked to see that I was in shorts and a big T-shirt. Looking in the back I saw the Uchiha symbol in the middle of it. Blushing I got up and walked out of the room to see Sasuke looking at a map.

"Morning!" I said and hugged him from behind. He chuckled and turned to hug me back, "Good morning Moe, sleep well?" he asked, kissing my forehead. I nodded and grinned a little bit, "What are you doing?" I asked peeking over his shoulder. "Looking for Itachi." he stated. He face grew sad, and his eyes turned cold.

"S-Sasuke?" I asked. He was just staring out into the distance and it was starting to worry me. I snapped my fingers in front of him, "Helloooo~! Earth to Sasuke!" I yelled. He blinked and looked down at me, "Sorry..." he turned and looked back down at the map. I sighed and laid on the table, sprawling out so he couldn't see the map. He glared at me lightly and I giggled, "Oh come on, I'm bored." I told him.

He smirked and leant down close to my face, "And what do you want me to do about that?" he asked me. I could feel my blush rising up to my cheeks, "U-Uh I don't know..." I trailed off. He smirked at me and put his hands on either side of my head on the table. "Mmmm well I could think of a few things." he said inching closer to my face, our lips brushing together slightly. I blushed and looked away nervously,  "U-Uh look what time it is!" I said trying to get out of Sasuke's hold. Sasuke smirked and kept me in place, "Why are you in such a rush Moe?" he cooed teasingly. I blushed more and Sasuke laughed a little before letting me get up off the table, "Meanie!" I pouted, sticking my tongue out at him.

He smirked and crossed his arms, "I'm mean?" he mocked. I crossed my arms like him and turned my back to him, "Yes, yes you are." I confirmed. He chuckled and hugged me from behind, his arms wrapping around my waist, "Well I'm sorry okay?" he said kissing my cheek lightly. "Yeah, yeah whatever Ducky-chan." I grinned. He rolled his eyes and watched me as I got up and walked to the kitchen,  "Did you undress me last night?" I asked pulling out a bottle of water. I glanced over to see him blushing, "U-Uh yeah..." he said nervously. I smirked, "Shady Uchiha."

He glared at me and I giggled, unscrewing the cap to my water. I looked at my hand to see my Akatsuki ring missing, and panic started to rise inside of me. Wide eyed I ran to the bedroom, looking everywhere for my ring. "Moe what's wrong?!" Sasuke asked, looking at me franticly searching for my ring.

"My ring! Where's my ring?!" I asked, my heart racing a million miles per hour. He looked at me confused, "Why is it that important?" he asked. I looked at him, a dark aura around me making him flinch. I grabbed the front of his shirt, pulling our faces close, "If something happened to my family, and I don't have my ring, I won't know what happened. I need my ring, do you have it Sasuke?" I asked, my voice cracking at the end, small tears forming in my eyes. His eyes widened,  "Y-Yeah, I have it." he said and pulled it out of his pocket, handing it back to me.

I grabbed it and slid it on my finger quickly and closed my eyes, focusing my chakra on it. I appeared in the room with the other members, "Are you guys okay?!" I yelled. They jumped a little, "Are you okay Moe? We haven't seen or heard from you in a long time." I looked over at Dei-kun. "I'm fine! I just thought... maybe something happened to you guys." I explained quickly, rubbing my head nervously. "Hehe, I guess everything's okay then?" I asked.

"Everything's fine for the moment Moe." I heard a deep chuckle. I looked to my left to see Dad with his arms crossed and a small smile plastered on his face. I grinned, "That's good." I said putting my hands on my hips. "Moe, I need to talk to you later." I looked at Itachi and nodded, "Okie dokie." I said closing my eyes and reopening them to see Sasuke standing in front of me.

He sighed and pulled me to him, "I'm sorry Moe." he said, burying his face into my neck. I was a little shocked but I hugged him back, running my hand through his spiky hair. "Don't apologize baka, I should apologize." I muttered. I felt him smirk against my skin, "Moe Uzumaki apologizing? That's something new." I glared and pushed him away, making him fall on his butt. I giggled, "Oops."

Sasuke smirked and got up, a mischievious look in his eyes. I gulped, slowly walking to the door, "S-Sasuke?" he walked towards me slowly before chasing me out the door.

Itachi's POV

I sat on top of a pole, watching my little brother chase his girlfriend outside the little apartment they were staying in. A small smile found it's way onto my face as he caught her and spun her in a circle, both of them laughing. 'I want your future to be like this Sasuke. Happy with the one you love the most.'  I thought. I sighed as I stood up, disappearing from my spot and appearing in the shadows next to them. Instantly Moe felt my presence and tensed up, making my little brother look at her confused,  "What's wrong Moe?" he asked her.

"N-Nothing!" she laughed it off, sending a small glare at me. I mentally sighed and stood out of the shadows, "Foolish little brother." I said catching him off guard. He jumped slighly and he looked over at me quickly, his sharingan activated, "Itachi..." he hissed at me. "G-Guys stop it." Moe tried to calm Sasuke down, putting her hands on his chest, holding him back. He ushered Moe behind him and clenched his fist, all while staring at me.

He charged at me, chidori in hand, "Die!" he said swinging it at me. I jumped up to dodge it, but Sasuke was above me. I looked up to see him with his katana covered in lightning as he stabbed me in the chest, both of us falling to the floor. Blood dripped from my mouth, "Y-You've really... gotten stronger." I said as my body turned into crows, flying away from Sasuke and Moe. "When you're ready for the real fight, meet me at the Uchiha Shrine, alone." I said and flew off.

'I'm sorry Sasuke... Moe... this has to be done.' I said opening my eyes and looked at the Uchiha Shrine. I walked in and took a seat on the large stone chair in the middle. 'I'll be waiting.'

Moe's POV

Tears brimmed my eyes and I clenched my fist tightly, my knuckles turning white. Sasuke sheathed his katana and looked in the direction Itachi's crows flew off to. He turned towards me, seeing my reaction to all this and hugged me gently, "I'm sorry Moe... I have to go." he said making his way for the apartment. I grabbed his wrist, making him stop in his tracks. I could feel tears running down my face, "P-Please... don't do this..." I chocked, shaking slightly.

Sasuke didn't say anything, he just stood there. His hair was covering his eyes so I couldn't tell how he was feeling. He pulled his hand away from mine and turned towards me, "Please don't try and stop me Moe." he said, pure determination in his eyes. I looked down at the ground, tears still streaming down, "I-I don't want either of you to die..." I muttered, making his eyes widen. Sasuke hugged me, "I won't die. I won't leave you alone Moe, I'll come back for sure." he said, pulling back and kissing me softly before turning and walking into the apartment.

He came back out with his normal outfit, and all his ninja gear. He turned from me, facing the direction of the Uchiha Shrine, "I love you baka." I muttered, wiping away my tears. "I love you too." he said before disappearing from my sight.

'Is this goodbye Itachi?' I thought to myself, walking into the apartment and changing into my normal attire. I ran the same way as Sasuke, hoping to make it there before he did so I could talk to Itachi. 'Please let me make it there first... please...'

Alright guys, sorry this chapter's kinda short and this chapter's been WAYYYYYYYY over due, but I'm back now and ready to continue the story ^^ Thank you to all you guys who cheered me up and supported me :3 I might be able to cram another chapter today, but I work at 5 so I dunno :p but I will definatly post another chapter, plus I'm writing a Gajeel Redfox fanfic but I don't know if I'll post it. Tell me what you think ;3
