Hey guys! Here's another chapter for you! :D

Moe's POV
We've been running for a few hours and Daisuke decided we should take a break. He went to look for some firewood while I set up the tent. I sat down after I finished and looked down at the ground. Unwanted emotions and memories flooded into my mind as I started thinking about Konoha. I could feel my tears starting to form in my eyes.
"Damnit..." I muttered to myself, clenching my fist full of grass. Why couldn't I be the heartless ninja I know I am? Why couldn't I forget about everyone in Konoha? Silent tears slid down my cheeks onto the grass below me.
'Because you aren't a heartless ninja, baka.' Miki mumbled. I stood in front of her cage and looked at her. The look in her eyes... It reminded me of the villagers back home. The look of disappointment. I glared and clenched my fist, "Why are you looking at me like that?" I growled.
'Your not following the right path baka. I've already told you. Why did you leave your only family for a group of criminals? What was wrong with Konoha to begin with?' she asked me. My eyes widened slightly, before returning to their glare. "Because I needed answers." I replied, but for some reason... I wasn't believing myself. I don't even know why I really left in the first place. She scoffed at me, 'Your so naiive, Hostess. Maybe going to Konoha will clear your mind and give you a wake up call.' she said closing her eyes. 'I'm done speaking with you, Hostess. Your partner is back.'
I blinked a few times and looked to see Daisuke making a small fire. He looked over at me and gave me a small smile, "Aye there, you alright?" he asked. I nodded a little and sat in front of my tent. I sighed and started thinking about everybody back at ho-Konoha... at Konoha.

Daisuke's POV
I watched Moe as she sat down in front of her tent. She seemed to be in deep though and I didn't want to interupt her but... I was really starting to worry about her. Ever since Leader assigned us to the mission, Moe hasn't been the same. She became more distant, barely talked to anyone except Itachi-san, and wouldn't even eat the ramen I brought her. I haven't known her long, but she's my new partner and I can't have my partner feeling sad on a mission. I walked over to her and sat down, "Aye beautiful, what's wrong?" I asked.
She shrugged, "Nothing..." she said. I looked up at the stars, and smiled up at them. I noticed Moe look at me and back up, "Why are you smiling?" she asked me. I chuckled, "The stars remind me of home." I replied. I saw her head dart down when I said 'home' and something clicked in my mind. She's homesick and doesn't know it. Poor girl... I looked at her and nudged her with my elbow, "You miss home too, Moe?" I asked softly. I saw tears form in her eyes, and I noticed for the first time these past days... She's been crying. Tears fell from her sea blue eyes and I looked at her sadly, "Moe why don't you go back?" I asked her.
She shook her head, "I can't... No..." she muttered under her breath. I scooted closer to her, "What do you mean Moe?" I asked her. She started to cry a little and I started to feel bad. I pulled her into my lap and hugged her tightly, "Shhh... It's going to be alright." I told her quietly, holding her close to my body. She tensed up at first before crying on my shoulder. I chuckled internally, 'So the great Moe Uzumaki does have feelings.' I thought to myself.
After a while Moe pulled back and wiped her eyes, "S-Sorry about that... I'm not usually like that." she said standing up. I stood up and chuckled, "Obviously," she glared at me, "but I don't think differently of you." I said quickly. She rolled her eyes and flicked me off, "Go fuck yourself pretty boy." she said walking away. I smirked and crossed my arms, "After you hun."
She blushed a little and turned away from me, "I-I'm gunna go ahead. Catch up when you can." she said jumping off into the distance. I chuckled and turned back to the camp, sitting down in front of the fire.
'When are you going to tell her, boy?' A deep voice rumbled in my mind. I sighed, "I'll tell her soon enough, and my name's Daisuke not boy." I replied. The beast clicked its tongue, 'If you wait any longer it'll be too late, boy. She'll never forgive you if you wait until the last minute.' he said. I looked back up at the stars, "Oh Moe... What have you gotten yourself into?"

Moe's POV
I ran for what seemed like hours until I noticed I was in front of the Konoha gates. I took my cloak off and put it in my bag, then I changed my appearance a little. I looked the same except I got rid of the whiskers on my face, changed my eye color and clothes. I walked in Konoha and pulled up my mask to cover up my lower face. I walked around slowly, taking the sights in once again. Flashbacks and memories rushed inside my brain bringing an unexpected smile to my face. I walked around until a familiar scent hit me... Ichiraku's Ramen! I ran until I found the store and walked in.
"Hello!" the Old Man greeted me. I smiled behind my mask, "Hi there." I greeted back, "One miso ramen please. Extra pork, naruto cakes and vegetables." I told him. He nodded and started making the ramen, "Say Miss, do I know you from somewhere?" he asked glancing at me. I shook my head, "No sir, I don't believe so." He nodded and kept cooking, "I'm sorry. This village lost someone dear, and you resemble her quite a bit." he told me. My eyes widened a little, "What was this girls name?" I asked. He gave me a small smile, "Her name was Moe Uzumaki." he said. My eyes widened in shock, 'The village missed me?!'
"Actually today's the day she left the village, along with Sasuke Uchiha." he said putting my ramen in a bowl. He handed it to me and I paid him, "Th-thanks." I said and pulled my mask down. I started eating my ramen when I heard some noises coming towards the store. "That was a good mission!" a familiar voice boomed.
"H-Hai, we d-did a good job." a more timid voice replied. The voices entered the store and I glanced to see Kiba, Hinata, and Shino. I quickly looked back down at my meal and continued eating. Hinata sat next to me, "E-Excuse me." she said as she slide in next to me. I merely nodded and turned more. I could feel my heart clench remembering my best friend. Team 8 started talking about their mission and other things, making my heart hurt worse. I stood up and left the shop, unable to take anymore. I walked for a while and went to the training fields. I sat against a tree and watched people walk by, and little kids training with their sensei's.
"Shikamaru, you lazy son of a gun." I heard a deep chuckle. I looked around the tree and saw Asuma-sensei and Shikamaru laying in the grass. Shikamaru chuckled, "I can't help it. If I don't want to do the dishes I don't want to, but Mom had a fit before I left the house this morning." he replied. Asuma chuckled, "You should listen to women more often, they're top dog in the house." he told Shikamaru.
Shikamaru gave a small smile, "That's what Moe used to tell me... Troublesome woman." he said. Asuma looked at him, "Today's the day huh?" he asked. Shikamaru just nodded and looked up at the clouds, "We used to watch clouds here together when we were bored." he said, a smile crawling up to his face. I stood up and walked away, not wanting to hear anymore. I walked around some more before I found myself in front of the Hokage's Mansion. I looked up and saw Granny sitting on the balcony looking at the village. She looked down at me and it looked like she noticed who I was. I shook the thought out of my mind and turned, walking away once again.
Just before I started walking I heard a voice call my name, "M-Moe? Is that you?" I heard someone say. I kept walking and I heard footsteps running to catch up. "Excuse me," someone pulled my shoulder, making me look at them. My eyes widened when I saw Naruto standing there, tears in his eyes, "C-Can I help you?" I asked him. He ducked his head and shook it, "N-No, I'm sorry... I thought you were someone else..." he said, tears falling from his eyes. I looked over my shoulder to see Kakashi and Sakura looking at us. Kakashi and I met eyes, before I ripped them away quickly. I knew that he must've noticed it was me. "I'm sorry for the inconvinece." I said with a small bow and left.
