Lizzette POV

We’re going to the Hospital for another examination. Yeah!! This will be our second time to the hospital; But Nicole didn’t want to go. Bago pa namin sya napilit…

Flashback….

Me: baby, we need to consult to your Uncle James about your condition. Please…

She just stares at me. hai. Tigas talaga ng ulo ng bata na ito. Sabagay, kahit din naman ako ayaw ko na bumalik doon. I really hate hospital. Takot ako sa dugo. Yup!! Bloody hell!!!

Mark: baby please? Just follow your mom, everything will be alright. I know your brother will be happy :)

Again, she started to cry. But, after a minute. She just loss her consciousness. We decided to take her to the Hospital even though she will g\be get mad at us. It is just for her own sake.

END OF FLASHBACK…

Doc: Hi Nicole. How’s your day?

Me: ahm.. I think we should be outside. Bye baby!!

Nicole: no… please…

I can see on her eyes that she’s really scared. Ayaw ko na rin sana lumabas kaso nagsalita na si Mark. He’s decision will be followed. Sorry baby :(

Doc: It will be fine Nicole :)

Before we closed the door, I saw Nicole hugging James? Why?

JAMES POV

Hi!!!

I’m James Michael Wades. The youngest son of Mr. Federico Wades and the Husband of Ghermaine Wades and the Father of Lawrence Paul Wades. I think you’ll know them. Do you? Hehe. Okay. I’m a doctor, a psychiatrist in particular. I was assigned to observe Nicole’s condition. This is her second time to meet me again. But, I think she doesn’t want here in the hospital? Why? Is it because of the past? I feel pity on her. Hanggang ngayon kasi hindi pa ito nakakamove-on.

Doc: so, let’s start?

She just nods at me.

Doc: I think you should stop doing any body language when someone is talking to you. So, you can get to use your voice. Okay?

Nicole:  o----okay…

So, she was experiencing Dysphonia for almost 6 years of not speaking. I know it will take too long, to get back on herself again. I look at the machine on her side. It is a machine that monitors her heart rate.  I can see that her HR is increasing. She’s really scared.

(an: Dysphonia—difficulty of speaking. This may be due to a disorder in larynx, vocal cords, tongue, or mouth, or it may be *psychogenic*)

Doc: are you scared?

I look at her eyes. There’s something she wants to tell me. But, I can’t read it? She’s hard to read. I want to know it, spill it out!!

Nicole: Lawrence….

Doc: w-who’s that?

Nicole: you l---look like Lawrence…

Doc: do you know my son? Lawrence Paul?

Nicole: yes

Paul never talked to me that he knows Nicole? Did father give Lawrence also a mission? Or did Lawrence accept it? Pwede, if papa threats him. Tsk…
