Violet's POV

"Levi, you can't just do things like that!!!" I yell at my goof ball of a best friend, Levi. He has been there for me ever since I moved here and it is a good thing he is cute or I would seriously not hangout with the guy. I don't like him in that way if you were wondering. I think he is cute in a non-relationship way. More of a koala sort of way. Because Levi reminds me of a koala. Koalas are cute, right? I don't know why he reminds me of a koala but he just does.

"And why not?" Levi asks me as he puts his hand on his hip. He pouts his lips a little and then leans forward. Did I mention that he also reminded me of a diva? Divas aren't cute.

"I thought I have told you many times before and we even agreed to it," I tell him as I continue to walk down the street block, "once we board in London that we are going to act normal."

Levi looks at me and then takes his hand off of his hip. He walks and says to me in a faint whisper, "but boring is normal."

"Don't you mean that normal is boring," I ask him in correction of his words.

He shakes his head fast which makes his curly hair bounce every where,"no I mean what I say."

I shrug and then look around. My eyes stop on the guy that Levi had to sit with on the bus. I nudge Levi's arm but he doesn't notice me. I see the guy falling behind with the group and he keeps looking at his phone. I nudge Levi again and he playfully pushes me.

"Leave me alone," he says as he makes his voice squeak a little and the squeak blends in with the noise from the traffic.

I nudge him again but this time harder.

"What do you want?"

I make him look toward the way of the guy and Levi just shrugs annoyingly, "Drew yeah so what?"

"Drew?" I ask him because I don't remember seeing him around. I was a junior last year so I didn't know a lot of the school. Levi was the only senior I knew. But Levi was actually the only guy I talked to.

"Yeah," Levi said while looking down, "he-" Levi looks up again and looks around like looking up in the sky, "He just isn't a guy to talk to Vi. Why are you so interested in him?"

I shake my head and laugh a little," I am not interested in him. I just don't know him."

He looks at me finally again and says,"well don't waste your time even getting to know him."

I then get confused. Levi doesn't do these types of things. He never acts like a serious guy. He usually tries to goof around but what has happened. Did he try to get to know this Drew guy? And the Drew guy rejected his friendship or something? I don't know and my mind can't ponder on the thought once more.

"Why not?" I ask him practically going against what my mind was wanting to do.

"Because he doesn't talk. He doesn't want friends," I look at Levi in shock and he just pulls his backpack strap up more, "He wasn't always like that though."

"Why? What happened to him?" I asked and then Mrs. Lide got our attention to go on ahead. I look back at the Drew guy. Will he always be a mystery for me? Probably. But if he doesn't want to talk then that is his fault.

***

"And this is our hotel that we will be staying at for the next three months!!" Mrs. Lide said to the group. Her perkiness was so irrelevant with the hotel's stature that I almost puked inside of a guys backpack.
