Drew's POV

Promises. They are a word that shouldn't be messed with. Trust. That is a word that I might never have nor ever will  completely gain.  No matter how much I like to make promises I never actually stay true to them. Isn't that such an ordinary thing to tell you? I have always wanted to tell the truth. I have. But like I stated before, I don't know how to say what I feel. When I was younger it was a lot easier, indeed, but now that I'm older and I am the way I am, I don't. Well technically it's not saying a lie when I don't say anything at all. But I think everyone gets a point at which I mean. Most of the time at least.

Violet and I made a promise. Sort of. We made a promise that we would do anything for another. I thought i could trust her but I guess I was wrong. It didn't make me mad that she read the journal, it made me mad that she had to read the journal. I don't mind telling her about myself. She makes me feel comfortable. After a whole year, I finally have a person that I can trust. I don't know if she has ruined that trust all the way though. I just don't want to face the problem right now. I also know that is an ordinary thing to do for a stupid person but did I ever think for one moment I was smart? Like ever? No.

As much as it kills me to make this proclamation I think Violet has changed me. These boys have that is for sure.

"You know as a wise guy you aren't really that wise, Nate," Austin says as he walks from their mini kitchen to the dinning room. When I first went into their room I thought it was unfair that they got a kitchen but Violet and I didn't. Austin takes a seat at the table. He sticks a fork into his steak and then looks at Nate.

Nate shrugs and laughs, "you know that I am just kidding most of the time, right?" he looks at Levi and Levi bursts out laughing.

"Bro. I think we all know that you try to hard on the whole being wise thing," Levi leans his arms at the end of the table and puts his head on top of his arms. He smiles as Nate gets up and makes his chair drop to the floor.

"I give up!" he states and puts his hands up in defense.  Nate walks into a room and leaves the rest of us look his way in confusion. I don't know exactly what happened but I just know that Austin, Levi, and Nate are very weird. Their friendship is very awkward and it reminds me of a friendship I once was in.

"How do I look?" Austin asks loudly from the bathroom. I turn toward him and laugh at what I am seeing. He is waddling out of the bathroom in a sumo wrestler outfit. It's a ll blown up and makes him look huge.
