"The doctor is just some final checks Mr Hunter, you may see her then" The nurse smiles through gritted teeth, annoyed with Christian's constant questions.
"Is she awake fully?" Christian asks desperate.
"Shenid currently demanding her fluffy pajamas right now so yes, she is fully awake" The nurse smile anf makes a quick escape.
Christian smiles to himself and turns to Amelia " I have to make a call, ill be two minutes".
"May I speak to Stan Brown please" Christian asks, using Charitys phone to call.
"What can I do for you lad?" The old man asks cheerfully.
Christian smiles "She is awake"
Stan chuckles happily "Well that is good news. Ill pop along very soon"
"Thank you" Christian replies, his words meaning more.
Stan chuckles and hangs up. Christian smiles at the ohone before headin toward Charitys room. Amelia looks at him, her face flush.
"Whats wrong?" Christian asks, concerned.
Amelia shakes her head, her eyes avoiding his "Im sorry for what I said to you, I wouldnt blame you, I-"
"I was and am to blame, I wouldnt have held your words against you Amelia" Christian smiles, regret and pain burnin in his eyes.
Amelia smiles nervously at him "Can we go and see her now?"
Christian walks toward her door, peering through the window and smiles. "Yeah, lets go"
Walking through the door, amelia immediately runs to charity holding her carefully close. Christian hangs back in the doorway, allowing the girls to have some space.
"Since when have you been shy Hunter?" Charity calls from her bed, her eyes bright and shining.
Christian looks at her, his emotions guarded. He pastes an easy smile on his face. "I'm actually sick of the sight of you Ms Taylor, you havent been to chatty the past few days"
Beneath the bruises she blushes slightly and tuens her head away. "You have been here all that time?" She questions quietly.
"Every minute" He replies huskily, emotion catching in his voice.
She turns to him, her eyes searching his. "So you still. ."
Christian walks toward her bed, sitting beside her silently. "Still what charity? Love you?" He smiles, taking her hand in his as Charity eyes him wearily. "I couldnt love you anymore if I tried, and I will show you just how much every single day. I swore to god that I will never take you for granted and I wont. I nearly lost everything I loved, and my everything is you. Never, ever leave me again Charity Taylor"
Charity looks at him, her eyes brimming with tears. "I... wow. I.. you... what."
Amelia chuckles behind Christian, a broad smile on her face. "Great response Charity"
