Maya
"Do it." I breathed before Nathan dropped my hand and in less then a second was in his wolf. I was shocked at how fast he could change. Something I defintaly wasn't expecting.
Nathan began growling. He snapped his jaws making a large clapping sound. Everyone backed away, but that idiot Jackson stood still. He looked like he was scared, but wasn't going to back down. Thing is, he wants Nathan's alpha spot. He wanted to run the pack and have mom by his side. He was forcing her into it also. I wouldn't give up my place, and I knew that once Nathan met him, they wouldn't like each other and someone would start the fight.
Whoever end's it is the thing I want to know most.
Nathan
I was in my wolf within a second, snarling and clapping my jaws together. This twat didn't know what was coming for him.
"Bad idea pretty boy." Jackson smirked before he was a wolf. Much smaller then me. He had to be the size that Maya was then she first shifted. Which had been the size of a German Sheperd. Myself, I am twice the size of a normal timber wolf.
"Let's take this outside why don't we?" I asked him with a nod of my head to the back door. He bolted out the back. I looked at Maya for a split second. "Get everyone out of the this house. Pack as much as you can. I'll take care of this bitch and meet you somwhere." I said to her before running out the back.
I will take this guy out. And he wont be getting up for a while. And it wont hurt if I kill him. He would hurt my family, if he got control of the pack. I wont stand for that.
Once out the back I looked around for a second, before I had been jumped on top of and K-9's clenched down on my spine.

So it's short because the next chapter has the fighting in it and I wanted that in a different chapter from this. So I hope this put you in suspence!!
Oh and the Title is now just Protector. I've filling just figured it out. And what about the new cover? Like? Love? Dispise?
