Chapter 10

Nathan

"What did you just say?" I ask Jay.

"I just had some kind of vision of the future." He says.

"Jay what was that vision about?" Lizzie asks him.

"Well it was in like 4 years, Em was 14, we were having a movie night me and her, she wanted to watch The Notebook, and we got in like a small fight and I said something like, I know you were a kid then, but you were twice as much fin then. That was the you that a fell in love with. Then Em flips out and starts yelling at me and calling me a pervert. And I just don't know what to do." Jay was now on the floor, gripping his hair in his fits, rocking back and forth.

"Jay listen to me. You just need to calm down for a moment." Lizzie says trying to calm down Jay.

"I-I've gotta get out of here. I can't risk hurting her. I can't." Jay says jumping up and running out of the house. Me and Lizzie share looks. If we're not careful Jay might do something stupid.

Well we know the he will. About five years ago, Jay thought he was in love with this girl. No one in the family liked her and we knew that she would hurt him. We were right, after about two months of them dating, Jay found out she had been with several other guys while they were together. He broke down, and almost killed himself. He thought it was his fault, but really it was the girl being a slut.

So now Jay thinks that he will hurt Em, lose her, she might hate him; oh and be without a mate. We all know that without a mate most people go crazy. And Jay already is. That's one problem to having an under aged mate. You feel like your going to do so many things wrong, and you'll lose them.  You bassically go insane, in less time than a normal person would.

"Jay?" Me and Lizzie look to the stairs. Emily stood at the top of them. "Mummy, Nathy, do you know where Jay is? He said he would watch Peter Pan with me." Emily says a tear falling down her cheek.

"Well sweetheart. Jay left for a little bit. But we're going to find him, don't worry." Lizzie says, I don't think she even knew what she was saying. I don't think I would have either.

"He found someone else to be friends with didn't he? He doesn't ike me anymore." Emily sobs. I ran up the stairs pulling her into my chest.

"No, Em. Jay didn't find a new friend. He's just having a hard time with something right now. And you know that Jay would do anything to spend some time with you even if it was just for a second. That's what JayBird's are for." I tell her trying to joke the best I could at the end.

"Th-than why did he leave?" Em asks.

"Again, Em he's just having a hard time with something right now. He just needed to go for a run." I say kissing her forehead.

"I need to find him then! I want to help him!" Emily jumps from my arms and runs out of the house. Damn she's fast on two feet. Me and Lizzie look at each other again. I run down the stairs and into the living room.

"Boys we need to go now. Maya you can stay with the girls." I tell them. They all look at me, but the boys stand. The girls grab their hands giving them puzzled looks.

"We'll tell you later." They say to their girlfriends before running out of the back door.

"Nathan what's doing on?" Maya asks.

"Let's go with Jay had a freak attack, and Em went after him, not knowing what it was about." I tell Maya kissing her cheek before running out the back and shifting once I hit the back yard.

"What's your plan on finding them Nathan?" Max asks.

"Find the sent and follow it." I tell them.

"That's not going to do much good you know. Sents are everywhere. We'll never find the right one to track." Tom says.

"That's is why there is four of us. Pick on of their sents and track it. I'm gonna run out to the waterfall, see if anything is there." I tell them before we all bolt in different directions.

Jay

I just ran. I didn't know where to, but I let my feet carry me. I'm hoping no one followed me. If I was going to do something stupid I didn't want anyone finding me in the act. I know what I did a few years ago waas stupid and wasn't for real love. But this time it is. And if I'm going to end up doing something stupid in the future, I might as well save everyone from that pain and just get it over with now.

"Jay?! Jay!?" I stop in my tracks at the small voice calling me name. I look around finding nothing.

It's just in your head Jay. Keep going. Don't stop. It'll be over soon. A voice in the back of my mind tells me. I do as it said and kept running. 

"Jay!? JayBird?! Jay please! Where are you?!" I stop once again. I look around, still finding nothing. I stay there for a moment seeing if the voice came again.

"Jay!? Please JayBird!" Emily. It's not in my head. It's Emily, she's out here looking for me. I can't let her find me. I might do something stupid, and I can't let her see that happen. She'd be crushed.

She would also be crushed if something happened to you. A new voice said. This one sounded nicer then the other one.

"Jay!? Jay please come back! Please!" I look around as Emily's voice shouts my name again. It sounded like a sob. I've got to find her.

"Em?! Em where are you?!" I shout. I feel a strong wind blow around me. I look around and see the clouds covering the sky. There was going to be a storm. What kind of storm I don't know.

"Jay! Jay, I don't know where I am!" She says.

"Em, just stay where you are. I'm on my way right now. I'm going to find you." I tell her before I start running. I close my eyes and let my feet take me. It's like my body and mind know's where Emily is. Maybe it's because she's my mate.

"Jay please hurry. I'm scared." Emily says. I can hear how frightened she is.

"Emily, I need you to tell me what it looks like around you." I tell her.

"Okay... Um... There's this really big rock, it's covered in moss and the moss looks like a creepy face. A some fallen trees. Jay please hurry." I think about what she says to me. There is things like the all over in this forest. But I think I know where she is.

"I think I know where you're at Em. I'll be right there. Don't move." I tell her. I ran as fast as I can. I just hope I can make it there before the storm hit's, and then home. I don't want to be spending the night out in the woods in the middle of a storm that I don't know what could happen in.

So does this chapter have enough drama and what not in it for you guys? I hope so, because I'm like dying to know what I'm going to write next myself!! So yeah I'm keeping this short, so I can get to work on the next chapter. So maybe you wont be left with this for too long.
