The black haired girl who called herself 'Karasu' smiled happily while the group of boys looked at her dumbfounded with her statement.

" Y-You're... going to protect us?"

Hinata Shōyō shyly asked, rather scared at the woman infront of him.

Karasu nodded, agreeing with the orange haired boy.

Kageyama Tobio looked at the girl who was in front of them. What she said was pretty bold.

" How? "
The indigo blue eyed male asked since he was a man of few words.

" Only the captain would know, right Sawamura-*daichou ?"

The black haired girl casually says while looking to Sawamura Daichi.

However, he was in deep thought. His hand was on his chin and his eyebrows were furrowed.

His brown eyes widen in realization. With his mouth hanging in surprise and pointing towards her.

" Daichi? "

Sugawara Kōshi asked, quite worried at his friend behavior.

"You're...."

The captain began, making everyone confused.

" You're from the project aren't you? "

Karasu nodded, wiping a few drops of blood from her black leotard.

" Project? What project? "

Being the curious child he is, Hinata asked eagerly.

Daichi looked back at the group, his eyes with fierce passion.

" We'll be going back to the base with the company of Karasu "

He stated quite firmly, making the younger ones reply with an 'osu' and Sugawara laugh at them.

As they began their expedition to return to base, Karasu suddenly stopped. Sugawara took notice of this and asked:

" Karasu-san, are you alright? "

The black haired girl looked at him in the eyes. Bright blue could be seen in her black eyes. She tilted her head, her expression emotionless.

" Error. "

Her robotic voice came back. Sugawara, however, was confused.
By now the entire group stopped to see what was happening.

" Rebooting in 30 minutes "

She said once more before falling to the ground. Luckily for her, the grey haired male was near, catching her in the process.

The younger generation of males got really worried for her since she suddenly fell. Sugawara checked if anything was wrong with her.

" She's alright."

The grey haired male stated, relief spread across the group.

" How we're going to move forward now? It's going to be dark soon..."

Kageyama silently asked, moving a bit closer to Sugawara. Sawamura was going to say something when the grey haired male shifted a little and started giving her a piggyback ride.

" Like this..."

Sawamura silently looked at the scene with a small smile.

' He really does act like a mom..'

" Wahhh! That's so cool Sugawara! "

Hinata exclaimed excited, wanting to try what his older companion was doing.

" Oi, dumbass! Don't try anything funny..."

Kageyama then insulted him, hitting Hinata's head in the process.

Daichi sighed as he watched the younger ones bicker. With a hand on his hip, he instructed:

" C'mon guys, we don't want to be late now..."

Simple gestures can result in
great satisfaction.
