Hi, my name is Hope. I'm 14 years old and I have 2 siblings. I have an older, pothead of a brother named Austin who's 16 years old, and a younger sister named Justice, who's 5 years old. We've lived with our father, Daniel, since our mother died 2½ months ago. I still don't understand why my mother overdosed, she seemed so happy before. Anyway, life has been pretty tough since our mother passed away, and we're barely making it through all this grief and depression, but we're doing it. Things have been going downhill, though. For example, our father started drinking. And Austin has made drugs his top priority. Oh yeah, and my classmates have been torturing me, but that's been going on since 3rd grade. Everything seemed so much easier when our mother was still around. Life has been a total nightmare since she died.
