The meeting was in the same warehouse as the one Aurora had died in. She didn't see the significance, Scarlett should have been scared, but she wasn't.
She took her phone out, tapping the screen to show the millionth message from Elijah, asking where she was. Obviously, she ignored them. She couldn't be hassled by him at that moment, she didn't have the patience or time for it. She knew he had her best interests at heart, but she needed this. She needed to go out and make her mistakes, she needed to go out and learn that the old Scarlett was something she can get back.
The echo of her boots alerted anyone who resided in the factory. It was completely empty. Apart from someone who mirrored her.
"Just on time" a woman with darker skin approached her
"What, I don't get the real deal?" Scarlett shrugged "couldn't Tristan be bothered to show up?" She was kind of disappointed. Though common sense told her that if it was Tristan there, she'd be dead by now.
"He thought I could handle this whilst he tended to more important matters" her voice just annoyed her, it was the way she spoke that got to her most.
"The Seratura, you have it?" She asked
Aya held up the circular object and wiggled it in the air "the oak"
Scarlett retrieved the small trinket and held it in the air "and now we have a problem, because I sure as hell don't trust you"
"The feeling is mutual" Aya nodded. Scarlett finding the time perfect to listen in for any others around her. Anyone that could pounce on her.
"You've Come alone?" She asked when she couldn't find any pulse or signs of breathing.
Aya smiled playfully "whose to say I've come alone? But I can handle myself against a week old vampire"
Scarlett walked up to her and held her hand out "I just want to be free from the Mikaelson's" she said "just like you did once, hand over the gadget and you can have this useless pile of wood"
Aya could relate, she had longed to be free from the sire of Elijah. And that's why she no longer needed the Seratura anymore, because they were going to kill them all.
Scarlett felt the cold touch of it against her hand as she grasped onto it. She felt an awful sense of pride and confidence, she finally had it. Not realising it was less valuable to the oak.
"The horse" Aya urged, suddenly getting het up without any leverage.
"Go and get it" Scarlett enacted her plan, throwing the horse backwards with all of her force, causing Aya to lunge forward... Straight into Scarlett's hand.
She stood there, gasping, as Scarlett's hand wrapped around her small heart. Scarlett leant down "this Is for Alex" she spat before tearing the heart out.
It was only a matter of time, Scarlett finally realised that Aya had not come alone.
She was pushed to the ground, away from the horse, the Seratura slipping from her grasp. Scarlett's heart rate fastened as she realised that this might not go to plan.
She scrambled for the first thing she could get, the horse. She crawled as the man who attacked her stood up. Relief hitting her face as she finally grasped onto the small wooden animal.
The man, took a second to let Aya's purple body fuel his rage.
"She had it coming" Scarlett scoffed, still on the floor "that's what you get for helping kill someone's boyfriend"
"You have made a very large mistake" he spat loudly "you and the Mikaelson's will pay"
Scarlett pushed herself up, ready to fight. She needed some time to regain her balance and try to choke down the nervousness. But she didn't have that time.
The man pushed her with all of his force, causing her back to hit against the back of an open storage unit.
Once again, the wooden horse escaped from her grasp and lay just outside of the unit she was in.
Her head hurt, her whole body hurt. The cracks of her bones send shivers through her spine and the whole world seemed like a blur as she slowly crawled to the edge.
'Move quicker' she thought to herself, but her body only allowing the slow pace she was going at.
Her arm reached out to grab it, but a slam against the metal walls made her whole body jump out of its skin.
She had stopped, she had stopped moving and all she could do is watch. The unfamiliar man, now with a smirk on his face slowly grabbed the trinket and held it up in front of her.
"Next time, do not be a hero" he chuckled as he walked off.
"Wait" she shouted "you're not going to kill me?"
Scarlett finally managed to balance herself on her feet as she tried to walk out of the small box.
But she was thrown backwards.
"What the hell?" She asked, as her hands banged against the invisible boundary "wait come back! You can't just leave me like this!" She called after him.
But he could. Scarlett seemed to be dealing well, she had been through it before. Soon enough Freya will come and break the spell.
That was until her vision panned upwards. The Seratura was stuck on the edge of the wall.
"No"she cursed as she finally realised that this wasn't any normal spell. This boundary will be kept up forever, nothing living nor dead would be able to pass. "No no no no" she shook her head as she tried to claw the gadget off the wall.
Scarlett didn't want to swallow her pride, but she knew when things had to come to an end. Luckily for her, she still had her phone.
"Scarlett" Elijah answered the phone immediately
"Elijah" she swallowed, she felt so embarrassed to make this phone call "I really need your help"
