I woke up to the loud sound of rain poring outside. As i looked to my side Oli was lying there asleep peacefully...shirtless. I watched his chest rise and fall as he breathed. He was pale very pale but his chest was covered in tattoo's so you couldnt see much bare skin. A rose here, a skull there i thought to myself as i traced the outline of every tattoo on his chest. When i got to his neck i used my index finger to trace his jaw line until i felt his lips turn into a smirk. That dickhead! Hes been awake all this time and now im going to look like a complete peado. His eyes flicker open and he looks at me laughing. Embarrased, i turn onto my back and cover my face with my hands but Oli quickly pulls them away from my face. I wait 5 seconds...10 seconds...30 seconds and he doesnt let go of my wrist. He just looks at me with a confused expression on his face.
"Youre cute" he finally says and smiles. I bite my lip and return the smile hoping he wont see the blush that has appeared on my cheeks. "what do you want to do today?" he asks, his voice toned with excitement. "i dont mind, its up to you" i answer honestly. "ok we'll have breakfast and then me and the boys have an interview so you'll get to meet the boys. And then there's this party later, if you would like to come?" he says. I think about parties, last time i went to one i was with Ash. Even though he was an abusive boyfriend he was very protective or even a bit over protective. He wouldnt let me drink any alcohol or dance with anyone but him and my dress always had to go down to my knees. I realised that today i have a chance to be someone different, and to live the way i want to. Which is why i agreed to go.
We walked down to breakfast in silence and i noticed that the house was freezing cold. As i started to shiver i felt a presence behind me and soon after i was enveloped by a massive warm hoodie wrapped around me. "thankyou" i whispered and after he gave me a quick smile i carroed on "so i was thinking...i dont have anything to wear to the party?"
"oh right yeah, i'll figure something out dont worry" he said whilst making two slices of toast and handing them over to me and sitting down on a stool next to me, eating his own. "about that guy Ash...-" he started but i cut in before he could ask anything. "its nothing Oli. please can you just leave it?" i ask hoping he would, but i was wrong. "thats the thing i can't just leave it!"
This is what i really dont get, he's known me for like 2 days and yet he thinks we're close enough for me to open up to him. "why, why not Oli?"
"because i fucking care about you Chlo, and i cant just stand here knowing that i cant make things better" his reply surprises me but i dont question it further because our argument is soon interrrupted by all of bring me the horizon walking into the house. Just like that, no knocking, nothing. ok then..
"oh hey guys this is chloe, remember her?" they all nod "and chloe this is-" "i know who they are", i say giving a shy smile. They all say their 'hey's' and then they start talking amongst themselves whilst sitting at the stools near us. I turn to Oli and ask him about the closest shopping centre. "its about a 10 minute walk from here, why?" he looks slightly confused. "is it okay if i skip the interview and go buy a dress for the party instead? not to be rude or anything" i ask hoping i didnt sound rude but from his gorgeous smile i could see that he was cool with it. "yeah sure, just be careful" "ok" i say grinning and standing up. "oh and Oli, is it okay if i take a shower?"
"haha yeah, the bathrooms upstairs first door on the left" he answers. "thankyou" and with that i walk off.
*30 minutes later*
I have just finished getting ready and walked downstairs, i put my jeans from last night on and tucked Oli's drop dead tshirt inside it. My hair was now wavy and my face was clean. I felt slightly naked not wearing any makeup but oh well. I didnt have anyone to look good for anyway. Walking downstairs i could hear the boys laughing about something and i noticed that Oli was now wearing skinny jeans and a t shirt. "well im off" i say with a quick wave and head towards the door.
