chapter 5: clouded hue?

Cada pov
I am walking down the busy streets of Tokyo. I'm going to have to find somewhere to stay for now which could be a problem.

Huh, sirens?

I turn around to see multiple cars racing towards the centre of Tokyo. I wonder what is going on? I guess if I want to find out i should follow them but it's not my business.

Never mind that. I'm going to find out what is going on. I chase after the cars, running as fast as I can.

I finally reach the scene to find that we are at a boarding school. My guess is that someone broke in and took hostages. Maybe because they were flagged or they were on the run. Whatever happened it looks bad. It must be bad if division 1 is involved. I wish I could help. I guess I should try not to get caught. If they find me here they will be suspicious. I guess I'll hide over here. I walk over to a shadowed area where no one should see me.

I can hear screams in the school. Anyone could tell that this area presently has a high stress level. You don't need a drone or a denominator to tell you that much.

"Kagari you better not get in my way or be too wreckless again" I hear ginoza say as he tells everyone the plan.

"*sigh*yes sir" Kagari says in an annoyed tone.

As they finally manage to pry open the locked door many students rush out of the school they take out their denominators and shoot them. Most were only paralysed but many of them were killed. Even those who weren't shot at first were eventually paralysed. Once all of them were either paralysed or dead, ginoza and the enforcers entered the building. I could tell that my hue was probably increasing rapidly. After what I had just seen, anyone's hue would increase.

I get up ready to leave but I am noticed by the one enforcer who was left outside, kagari.

"Hey you, get back over here right now" he shouts. I hesitate for a second before turning around and slowly walking towards her.

he points her denominator at me "crime coefficient: 119.3 mode: non-lethal paralyser aim carefully and shoot target"

"Please don't shoot me. I promise that I will come with you for treatment" I plead.

"Don't worry, this will only paralyse you for a little while. It won't hurt" kagari says in a calm voice.

"I don't want to be paralysed" I mumble. I start sobbing.

"Don't worry" he says. I suddenly feel a sharp pain in my neck and my vision goes black.

Kagari pov
Poor girl. She looked terrified. She looks so familiar where have I seen her before? I walk over to her limp body to take a closer look at her face.

Wait, she's the girl from that case earlier. Poor girl, getting caught up in two incidents in one night.

"Kagari !" Someone shouts. I look over to see the others walk out of the school doors, then I look back down at the girl. I slowly stand up and walk towards the others. All of them stare at the girl then back at me.

"What happened?" Kogami asks.

"She was hiding in the bushes over there. I don't think that she is a student here though" I answer.

"Is she the girl from earlier?" Ginoza asks in a worried tone.

"Yes, she is. Her hue must have been clouded after seeing so many deaths in such a short amount of time" I answer, still staring at the girl.

"What should we do with her? We can't take her with the students since she doesn't attend this school" Masaoka says.

"We'll take her with us and then we'll take her to the isolation facility for therapy" ginoza answers before walking towards the van. Soon the others follow and climb in the van leaving me to carry the girl. I pick her up bridal style to find that she is lighter than she looks. I then walk towards the van and sit her in the front seat before climbing in th back with the others trying to find a comfortable position in the cramped space.

Cada pov
What happened? My head hurts again.

I wake up to see that I am in a bright white room. I look around to see that everything is white. Wait, this place seems familiar. Is this the isolation facility?!

Why am I here?!
