Justin's POV

Isabelle takes a deep breath and shakes her head "I am okay" she whispers, I nod knowing she's lying.

"What are you going to do now?" I ask, she looks at me "I don't know. I have no idea. Justin, what do I tell her now?" she asks worried, I look at her eyes which shows anxiety.

"Come with me" I say and take her hand, "What? where?" she asks walking fast trying to keep up with my pace. "You trust me right?" I ask, "Well, yeah?" she replies unsure, I stop and turn around raising my eyebrows. "Isabelle? Do you trust me?" I ask, she gulps "supposedly" she replies, "What's that suppose to mean?" I ask, she shrugs "I don't know, supposedly yeah I trust you" I make a poker face.

"Well, now you're going with me, and we'll be alone. will you be comfortable with that?" I ask unsure, "Well, I'm always alone with you, so I don't think this is going to cause a problem" she shrugs, "Okay good, come on" I say and complete walking, my hand holding hers.

"But where are we going?" she asks, "we're going to escape" I say, "sounds like a plan" she says, we complete walking with silence, and we reach the woods, I stop walking and look at Isabelle.

she looks at me and nods "Let's do it" she whispers, "Let's send our moms a message first, we don't want to come back and see police everywhere. We don't want chaos to erupt"

We send our moms a message, and look at Isabelle "will you do fine with the dress you're wearing?" I ask noticing she's wearing a short dress, she shrugs "yeah, come on" she says.

"Have you ever been in there?" she asks, I shake my head "no, you?" I ask, she shakes her head with a smile. We complete walking in silence, suddenly Isabelle takes my hand "Where are we going exactly?" she asks, "We'll see, but we need to put some signs here" I say as I take a rock and draw an X on the tree "in case we forgot the way" I complete, she nods.

"I'm wearing flats" she says, I look at her feet and face palm myself "You should've said something" she shrugs "I can manage"

"You sure?" I ask, she nods and completes walking as I walk behind her. It's so dark and there are some weird animal noises. "Let's sing" Isabelle says, "yeah sure, pick a song" I say, she looks at me and starts singing all of me, and I sing along with her.

Truth to be told, our voices are not the best, but we are enjoying. we are enjoying singing together and simply each other company.

Isabelle cuts me off "I'm hungry" she whines, "I think there's something here, there has to be something" I say, she looks around in the dark "I can't see anything" she says, "me neither" I say, she rolls her eyes playfully at me "come on let's find something" she says and walks faster than me.

"Isabelle, don't go too far. Stay around me for god's sake" I say, "Sure" she screams with a laugh, I sigh as I walk watching her searching for something, "I think I've found something, come here" she says in a loud voice, I come to her "what have you found?" I ask,

she points at the soil and I see some mangoes on the soil, "There must be a mango tree" I say, she nods and takes out her phone, turning on the flashlight. "Here!" I point and see a huge mango tree in the dark, I see the fruit and take four, "Will this be enough?" I ask, "can't you take more?" Isabelle asks, "Well, I'd have to jump up the tree and it's dark obviously" I say.

"Well, I can get on your shoulder, and get more mangoes?" she says more like a question, "yeah sure, come on" I say as get down on the floor and she sits on my shoulders, "alright, now lift me up" she says, and I stand up, "you found any?" I ask, "Yeah, here" she says and I see two mangoes in front of my face, and I take them, she keeps giving me, "Isabelle, I think that's enough" I say when I look at the ten mangoes that she's picked them up.
