Isabelle's POV

"guys! wake up come on!" Ryan opens the door making us jump up "Jesus Ryan!" I put my hand on my chest, Justin groans and pulls me closer to him, "we need to visit Rachel" Ryan says putting a hand on his head rubbing it a little bit.

"I can go alone, and you can follow me later?" Ryan suggests, I look at Justin who nods. "no way, We're coming with you, I'll wake this shit next to me up.. We'll be ready in 20" I say, and Ryan smiles awkwardly before leaving.

"Justin, get up! look at Ryan, He'll shit himself up.. He's so stressed" I say as I pinch Justin's arm, he nods "well.. she is going to die" I widen my eyes and slap his arm "what the fuck Justin!".

"calm down, Iz.. but it's the truth, the cancer has spread all over her body" he mumbles and gets up, "fuck you, Justin!".

I get up and brush my teeth hurriedly and shower, then I open my bag that I've had in the vacation and slip on some sweatpants and a hoodie.

"Isabelle, why are you so mad at me?" Justin asks while doing his converse, I furrow my eyebrows "are you even serious?" I whisper not wanting Ryan to hear.

"Isabelle, Life is really unfair.. you should know that by now and accept it" He huffs and gets up, I gulp and stay silent because well, it has been really unfair to me, but for now, It's been really really fair. "miracles happen J" I mumble.

"Nop, like I do believe in miracles but I don't know" he sighs and gets his wallet, while I get my phone. "well.. it happened to me, and you're the miracle itself" I say and leave the room.

He was a miracle itself to me. He's never left me at my worst, and kept by my side encouraging me. He is my miracle.

"I made coffee for you guys" Ryan welcomes me stressed and nervous as he gives me a cup of coffee "Thanks" I smile, Justin soon follows and takes the cup from Ryan.

We all get out of the house and get inside the car, I get in the backseat while Ryan gets in the driver one, and Justin next to him. "Hey Ryan, don't worry.. she'll be fine" I smile at him, and he shoots me a smile back even though I can tell it's fake.

he starts driving, and Justin turns his head to me "Isabelle, for the love of god you've forgotten something today".

I frown "I have my phone.." I reply awkwardly, he shakes his head "you forgot to kiss me".

Ryan coughs "not here guys, for real" I start laughing as I come closer to Justin before giving him a quick kiss. "seriously, just get a room" Ryan says, and Justin rolls his eyes "if we were at the house, we would have" he replies and winks at me.

I chuckle and shake my head "idiot" I say, and he smiles at me.

After a couple of minutes, Ryan parks the car and we start walking to see Rachel.

Her whole family is here, we say a quick Hi to them before we come to greet her, and let me tell you this, the smile that I am wearing currently, vanishes so quickly.

she looks bad, really really bad.

I hurry and fake a smile "Hey Rachel" I hug her tightly, "I've missed you so much, Iz" she whispers, and I notice how her voice is getting weaker "I've missed you more.. sorry I wasn't able to come these weeks" I say feeling bad. To be honest I was just lazy to come, and now I feel so bad about this. fuck.

Her family leaves to get some coffee and give us some space with Rachel, and I sigh looking at her "How are you doing?" I ask and sit on the edge of her bed, while Ryan sits right next to her silently.

She stays silent and doesn't answer, and I sigh "Ra-" she cuts me off "I want to die, Isabelle" she whispers, and I widen my eyes.

Since day one, Rachel has been nothing but positive about life. She's been fighting a lot, and she never said the sentence 'I'm not fine', it has always been 'I'm still fighting', hearing her say this is shocking to all of us.

"Rachel, don't say that.." Ryan whispers, I am speechless to be honest. I can't even let a word out. Justin wraps an arm around me pulling me close to his chest "well.. we don't want you die Rachel, so please hang on for us" Justin says with a smile.

Rachel ignores his comment and look between us "no fucking way" she says slowly, "what?".

"you guys are dating? or still friends but doing the goals thing?" she asks, and I immediately blush, Justin laughs "We're dating" he replies and kisses my forehead, and I smile widely.

"I'm so happy for you guys! oh my god.. Ryan, they're finally dating!" she tells him excitedly, and Ryan chuckles "I know right? they took forever".

"I've already knew you liked each other since the day you were at the hospital.. well, at first I thought Ryan liked you but oh well.." she says, and I chuckle "Ryan?" at the same time Ryan screams "oh hell no".

""Ryan!" I scream at him, "come on! what's not good in me to not like?" I ask, he rolls his eyes, and Justin chuckles "well, she is mine now so.. back off if you have anything for her".

"I've never had anything for her! Rachel, why the fuck would you think like that?" Ryan asks, "Well, on the first days you were there, Justin wasn't so.. and also, you got extremely excited when she woke up.. you can't blame me" she laughs.

Justin raises an eyebrow at Ryan "did you fucking like her? I'll seriously murder you!" I look between the guys and roll my eyes "seriously Jay, even I know Ryan won't like me like that" I reply, "Thank you!" Ryan says, and I nod at him.

Then we start talking about other subject, and then after like an hour her family comes, and I feel like we need to leave and give them a privacy.

Apparently, this is what Justin feels as well because he gets up from his chair, and I get up as well "We kind of have to leave now" Justin says awkwardly, she smiles and nods, and then we all say goodbyes.

"but wait- guys" we turn around and smile at her, "can you visit me tomorrow? It's okay if you can't because it's Christmas.. or wait- nevermind" she says awkwardly, and I laugh "are you kidding me? I've brought a christmas gift like a week ago, we were already planning on coming Rachel" I reply, and she smiles widely "I love you guys" she blows a kiss, and I smile before leaving.

"she ain't alright" Ryan sighs once we leave, and I nod awkwardly, Justin stays silent but keeps his arm around me. Then we don't say anything and stay silent during the car drive.

"What are we eating today?" Ryan suddenly asks when we sit on the couch all together, "I'll call mom and ask her if you guys can come by lunch.. I'm pretty sure she's cooking something delicious" I answer, and he nods "thank you" he replies, and I smile.

"Are you okay Ry?" I ask, he looks at me and unlocks his phone "obviously no" he replies, and I sigh looking at Justin who gives me a warm smile.

"do you want to talk about it?" I ask, "Nop" he replies and it gets out of his mouth harshly, I nod "as you like, Ry" I reply.

"give him some space" Justin whispers and I nod.

Suddenly Ryan gets up "I have to leave for a while, call me when food is ready" he says and leaves. "that reminds me to call mom" I say as I pull out my phone and talk to her about this.

I lock my phone as soon as I finish the phone call and look at Justin "Well, now what do you want to do?" I ask, he shrugs "Isabelle, if something happens to Rachel, Ryan will seriously go crazy" he whispers.

"Tell me about it Justin"
