We don't waste any time. Right away, we move to find Dylan.

Straight to the cave we fly.

There's no way he's getting away with this. No way in hell.

Still without a plan we fly fast, yet hesitantly at the same time. Racing to the cave.

Finally, the entrance looks spookier than I remember.

"Are you ready?"

"I am if you are, and Allie?"

"Yeah?"

"If worst comes to worst, and you make it out but I don't.."

"Don't even say that Falcon we are both going home."

"I'm just saying, can you tell mom I'm sorry and I love her?"

"Yeah.." God, what would I do without Falcon? Maybe we shouldn't do this.

"Falcon, go home, it's not safe for you, I can do it myself."

"The hell you are. No way going home."

"Falcon." We exchange looks that only siblings would understand. His eyes beg and plead, as do mine. He finally growls and turns around.

"Allie."

"Mhmm?"

"Don't die." A bitter laugh escapes me at this. The chances are nobody is going to live if I'm doing this alone. As long as Dylan dies.

Here we go.

I navigate the halls easily following nothing but my intuition. Hopefully I'll turn a corner sometime soon and come across Dylan.

Nothing but empty halls with the sound of dripping water.

Footsteps. I hear them, not near but not too far. I follow the sound echoing in the halls.

At last they are right around the corner. Heavy, they must be Dylan's.

"Oh won't you come out Allie?"

He knows I'm here.
