This isn't right. Why is Fang trying to kill Falcon, his own son?
He must have reason, a damn good one I hope.
Something is wrong here.
"Mom, it's not Falcon."
"It's Dylan. He's not dead, again." Should I even be surprised at this point in my life? No time to think about that I have to fight.
Before I could throw my first punch I heard a scream.
Mine? No. Allie's? No.
I turn and what I saw is something I never expected to see again.
A human.
I turned back to see if the fight had heard the scream and they had, although something, someone was, missing, Dylan.
God (insert profanity(s) of your choice) it.
That son of a bitch will never give it a rest will he?
"Fang, you see what I see right?"
"If you mean-"
"A human." Allie interrupted before falling to the ground. Poor girl, she's probably exhausted and all this fighting hasn't helped. Fang goes to help her up.
We are all in shock. Humans are supposed to be "extinct" as far as we knew, so how is there one here?
We could just ask her but that would only cause further trauma. Imagine seeing a bird-hybrid fighting another couple of bird-hybrids, how would you feel?
Oh well, no other choice.
I fly right up to her hold out my hand and begin my introduction.
"I'm Max, that is Fang my husband, and the girl is Alouette, my daughter. And you are?"
A fainter, that is who she is. Flat on the ground. That's probably my fault. Oops.
