Frank's P.O.V.

I tried calling Gerard for about the hundredth time today. Still going to voicemail. He'd been gone for a week now. Everyone was worried about him. I was worried about him. I sat on Mikey's couch and kept trying to call Gerard. I sent text after text after text. Things like:
Where are you, baby? I miss you so much. Call me, please. xxx
And:
Please call me, baby. I love you so much. I can't live without you. Come home please. xxx
But I never get a reply. I was miserable without him. Even my kids had noticed. I keep remembering that look on his face. Betrayal. Sadness. Hurt. Anger. I just want to explain. I have to tell him why I didn't pull away from that guy. I know how it looks. But I would never cheat on Gerard. I don't ever want to lose him. He's my life. My soul mate. The love of my life. I need to find him and fast.

Gerard's P.O.V

Everyone in the village were acting weird. Staring at me and grinning. Then they'd whisper to each other.
I frowned as I approached old man Ken.
Ken smiled. "Hello, Gerard."
He actually got my name right. That's strange.
"How can I help you?"
"I was wondering if you knew why everyone is acting so strange?" I asked, looking around. "What have I missed?"
"We have young people here too."
I looked back at him, confused.
"They watch tv and listen to music. Seems Dean Garcia loves a band called My Chemical Romance. Can't get enough of them." He rested a hand on my shoulder. "He's looking for you, you know."
I frowned again. "Who? Dean?"
Ken sighed. "Your husband, son. He really misses you. He's put out a urgent plea on every tv channel to find you." He squeezed my shoulder, lightly. "What happened, son? Did he hurt you?"
I sighed as I sat on the bench beside him. "Frank and I have been through a lot." I said. "As corny as it sounds, it was love at first sight. The band needed another guitar player and Frank was brilliant."
Ken listened, quietly. His eyes looking out at the busy street.
"We became really good friends. We were always there for each other. Secretly in love but neither of us willing to ruin the friendship."
"Stubborn boys." Ken snorted.
I gave a dry laugh. "Yeah."
"Why can't people just swallow their pride and get on with life?" He queried. "What happened next, son?"
"We were performing on stage when we spotted a guy in the audience." I sighed. "He was being homophobic to another fan. Nasty things like signing a.....bj."
"Blow job." Ken filled in.
My jaw dropped open as I stared at him in shock.
Ken laughed. "I may be past my sell by date, but I'm not as innocent as I look."
I laughed. "I don't think you'll ever pass your sell by date, Ken."
"I'm ninety eight years old." He pointed out. "I've been overdue at the graveyard for so long, my entrance fee is going to be unbelievable."
I laughed again. "You don't even look that old."
"That's all the sex, boy." He smirked. "Keeps you fit."
I shook my head. "Wow." I grinned. "You are one upfront guy."
"Have to be these days." He shrugged. "What eighteen year old girl is gonna want a miserable old fart who is on a first name basis with a skeleton in a robe?"
I laughed again. This guy is awesome.
"So..." He looked back at me. "....The homophobic prick in the crowd...."
I grinned. "Yeah." I told him all about my life with Frank. The divorces, the cancer scare and the kidnapping. Everything. "I decided to go to Starbucks for a coffee." I continued. "But I saw Frank outside it, kissing a blond guy. I waited for Frank to pull away. But he didn't. When they finally pulled apart, Frank was smiling. He obviously wanted it."
Ken put an arm around my shoulders. "Oh, Gerard." He sighed. "You've been through more than your fair share of rubbish. I'm so sorry. I'll be here for as long as my saggy old body will allow."
I laughed. "Thanks."
"But there is a condition."
Oh boy. I'm almost scared to ask. "What's that?" I asked.
"If you see a red tie on my door handle, do not enter."
I laughed again.
"Gerard?"
We both looked up to see..."Frank?"
He smiled, shyly. "Hey, baby."
Ken frowned. "Is this thee Frank?" He asked.
I nodded.
Ken stood up and walked towards him. "If you hurt that amazing boy again, you'll be cashing in your graveyard ticket long before me." He said, stopping infront of him. "You have ten minutes. Don't even think of lying to him. Because if you do, I'll hunt you down and tear you to pieces. Do I make myself clear?"
Frank looked shocked. "Err...yeah."
Ken looked back at me. "If you need me, I'll be with Coline." He smirked, turning away.
I laughed. "Go get her, tiger."
"Watch for the red tie though." He shouted over his shoulder.
"Oh believe me, I will." I called back.
He paused to wriggle his butt at me. Then disappeared inside the hotel.
"He's one strange old man." Frank said as he walked towards me.
I turned to glare at him. "How the hell did you find me?" I snapped.
He stopped walking and looked at me, shocked.
"I put a urgent plea out on all channels." He stated. "A kid called Dean Garcia sent a picture of you sat by a lake looking sad. He said he was worried about you. He wanted to help you be happy again."
I looked away from him. "I'm fine." I informed him. "I have friends here. I have Ken."
"Ken?" Frank said with jealousy in his voice.
"Yeah. Ken." I didn't elaborate.
"So you've already moved on?" He sighed. "This...Ken...have you....."
I frowned. "Doubt it." I said without emotion. "I'm way too old for him. But then he's way too old for me."
"What.....?" Frank said, confused.
"He's into young women and he's ninety eight." I pointed out. "And judging from the amount of red ties I've seen on his door, he's more active than I'll ever be."
Realisation hit. "That old guy was Ken?"
I just nodded.
"Shit."
"Why are you here, Frank?" I sighed.
