Chapter Three--
"There's my girl!" Nick comes backstage, hugging me tightly. Tonight was the Jonas Brothers' first concert on their, I guess you could say, reunion tour. Considering they hadn't been together in public for almost three years."You did such a great job baby!" I smile brightly at him once I pull from the hug.
"You really liked it?" He takes a big drink of water, sweat running down the side of his neck. He really did try his hardest out there.
"It was amazing. You all did so great." I say, once Kevin, Dani, and Joe are all in earshot. I hugged each of Nick's brothers, as well as Dani. Danielle and I got a long pretty well, except she was very reserved as a human being. She was quiet, shy, and I was almost the complete opposite of those things.
"After party?" Joe questioned all of us, putting a small white towel in the back pocket of his jeans. We all said 'yes' in unison. The bodyguards walked in front of us as we made our way out of the arena and to the van waiting for us just outside. It was white and had tinted windows so no one could see inside. When we got out there, fans were everywhere. Nick, Joe, and Kevin all stopped to sign some autographs. I was grasping onto my boyfriend the whole time, wether it was on his arm, shirt, whatever the case. I didn't leave his side, and I really didn't like to in these situations. Danielle was the same way with Kevin. We managed our way into the vehicle eventually, the crowd everywhere we looked. They'd even crowd outside of a restaurant we were eating at. The Jonas Brothers were sure worldwide.
"We should get to the hotel and change first." Joe comments, looking down at what he's wearing.
"Good idea." Nick says kind of quietly. He wasn't a big talker usually. Their main bodyguard, Big Rob, was driving us to the hotel and wherever else we needed to be. We arrived at the hotel entrance, millions of fans behind metal fences across from the hotel. There were cameras and phones flashing everywhere, and lots of girls screaming. There were police holding them back and just keeping watch. All the boys waved to their sea of fans as we entered the large hotel. We all squished into an elevator and got up to out floor, Floor 21. This hotel was huge.
"Meet in the lobby in ten." Kevin said as well all went our separate ways into our rooms. Nick and I shared one, Kevin and Danielle shared one, but poor Joe was all alone. When Nick and I got in our room he instantly plopped down on the bed, face first.
"Uggghhhh." He groaned into the bed sheets.
"Come on babe, gotta change." I tell him, getting out of my leggings and blouse to change into a nicer dress. He rolls over onto his back, watching me change.
"I like what I'm seeing." He smirks, biting his bottom lip.
"Well, Mr. Jonas, I am taking that as a compliment." I proudly state, slipping on my dress. Then I realized that I could only get the zipper up halfway by myself. Nick zips up my dress the rest of the way, then slides me on his lap.
"You should." He says in a low tone, kissing my lips. I get up from his lap and pick out a dress shirt and black boot cut jeans from Nick's suitcase.
"Wear this. You'd look hot in this." I smirk, showing him the outfit.
"Yes ma'm." He says, pulling the shirt he's currently wearing over his head. I find myself checking out his toned chest and abs, liking what I see, but I don't let him know that. He changed and then we made our way to meet everyone downstairs.
"I'm not legal babe." I whisper in Nick's ear as we pull up to the club the after party was at.
"It'll be fine." He tells me, smiling. Uh, oh. Rob parks the car and then we all get out, Nick holding my hand tightly. All of us are bombarded by fans, cameras, everything. There are security guards in front of us. Well, Joe is really in front of Nick and I, and Dani and Kevin are behind us. We are led into to the club, and Nick talks to the bouncer, and I just see her nodding and giving him a card of some kind.
"Boom." It's a drinking license. Was this even legal? I take the license and Nick puts his arm around my waist. We walk with the rest of the Jonas' to the bar. Nick orders for the both of us and I have no idea what he's getting me. To be truthful, I've never full out drank in my life. I've had like a beer or two with my Dad, but that's it.
"What's this?" My boyfriend hands me a glass with some kind of drink in it.
"You'll see. You'll like it." He smirks, taking a drink of his own. I take a small sip, instantly feeling a buzz go through my whole body.
"Babe, that is amazing." I say to him, taking another big drink and finishing it off.
"Let's not get carried away now." Nick takes the glass from my hands.
"Let's go have fun." I giggle, already feeling pretty tipsy. I take his hand quickly and drag him to a couch that's under dimmed lighting in a corner. I sit him down and then sit on his lap myself.
"You're drunk Mar." He chuckles, leaning over and setting his drink on the small glass table.
"Nick! Come on, we gotta get on stage!" I hear Joe yell faintly.
"I gotta go babe." Nick pats my back in a signal for me to get up from his lap.
"Where are you going?" I put out my bottom lip and hiccup.
"You can watch." He takes my hand and leads me into a crowd of other people. He leaves me standing there, walking up on stage with his brothers. They all say things like how amazing the fans are, how awesome this tour is going to be, and that Nick has some new solo project coming up. When they're done, they wave to everyone then exit the stage. It was weird because I wasn't backstage like usual. Would he find me if I'm not backstage? Will he leave without me? I started crying at the thought, making sure that no one saw, for my boyfriend's sake. I go and sit on the couch we were on previously, putting my head in my hands and feeling a hard headache coming on.
"Marni?" I hear someone say, there voice close to me. I look up and wipe under my eyes carefully. It's Kristen. As in, the girl who I went to the Jonas Brothers concert with, which is also where I met my current boyfriend. And she knew we were dating, but her and I haven't seen each other in a couple of years.
"Kristen. Hey." I smile, wiping a tear from my cheek.
"Where's Nick? I assume you're here with him." She looks around the club for him. I'm lucky that she's more mature now. She's not obsessed with the Jonas Brothers anymore, and is completely okay with me dating one. Kristen looked back at me, seeing that I was crying.
"You're crying. Who made you cry? Did Nick? I'll kill him." She's always been my best friend. Well, I shouldn't say always. We really started becoming friends in our junior year, when we were assigned to do a partner project for biology. Apparently, those projects can kindle friendships. We've been best friends ever since then. Kristen has always had my back.
"No he didn't." I laugh a little, feeling more calmed down now. I look around, not seeing him anywhere.
"Actually, I'm not sure where he is. He was on stage not too long ago." Before she gets a chance to answer me, I hear his voice.
"Babe, there you are. I was worried." He comes and sits next to me and gives me a deep kiss. I pull away first, looking over to Kristen sitting on the other side of me.
"Kristen, Nick. Nick, Kristen. She's my best friend." I point to them back and forth. Nick shakes her hand and they say hello. Then it looked like a light bulb lit up in his head.
"I remember you. You were will Marni at that concert years ago. Joe could not stop talking about you." Nick says to her. I swear her jaw dropped to the floor. As well as mine.
