Lincoln awoke in a poorly lit room with his wrists handcuffed to a bed he was laying on. He couldn't remember where he was or what he was doing there. Then suddenly the memories came flooding back. The memories of Jemma sedating him and that- that thing. He sat up and winced. He guessed that he had a few cracked ribs. The room was dark and dingy. Suddenly a door creaked open and Jemma entered with who he had seen earlier. The expression on her face was strange. It was a strange, blank expression. Not like the friendly expression she usually had. "Ah, you're awake!" The man said.
"Jemma!" Lincoln said. "Please. You don't have to help him. You still have a choice." Jemma didn't respond and continued to stare ahead with a blank expression. The man laughed.
"Don't even try to reason with her. She is mine." Lincoln looked at him.
"Who are you? What do you want?" He asked.
"I am Elias Toby. And I need something from your lovely fiancé."
"What do you want with Daisy?"
"I need her to tell me something. When she does, I will kill you both."
"She'll never tell you anything."
"Ah, well I will say, she is remarkably strong. She is not susceptible to torture. But if I were to torture, say, you, she will have to succumb. I don't think she will let her fiancé die."
"You don't know Daisy."
"No. But I know people. You know what I did before I changed? I was a psychiatrist. So I know how people think. I know their limits. I know some people better than they know themselves." Lincoln then noticed what was on his hands. Toby saw what he was looking at. "Ah. I see you've noticed the inhibitors Simmons designed. I was quite surprised when Johnson broke out of her's. But I suppose that it was the combined stress of the pain and the sight of Coulson being tortured. But, they still serve their purpose. Now. They should be here any minute now. I must prepare for their arrival. Good day." He and Jemma left the room and Lincoln slowly laid back down. He winced as he did. He knew that without his powers he couldn't get out. But he also knew he couldn't let Daisy come find him. He couldn't let her give Toby any information. But he had no choice. He sighed and awaited what was to come.

Coulson and the team stormed the base and found nothing, except for the fact that Jemma and Lincoln were gone. Fitz had taken the news about Jemma the worst. He hadn't said anything except incoherent mumbles since Coulson had told the team. Coulson sighed.
"He must have taken Lincoln," Coulson said.
"We need to find him!" Daisy exclaimed. "Fitz, can you track the energy signature again?" Fitz started to mumble a reply, but Coulson cut him off.
"Daisy! That's exactly what he wants. We need to plan and call for reinforcements!"
"We don't have time! And who are we supposed to call? Anyone we call would just get in the way."
"Not anyone..." Daisy's eyes lit up as she realized who he was talking about.
"Joey and Elena! Of course!" Mack suppressed a smile at the mention of Elena.
"I'll go let them know," Bobbi said and left. After a bit she came back.
"They are on their way. I sent a few agents to pick them up."
"Ok," Coulson replied. "Fitz? Can you track the energy signature again?"
Fitz nodded. "Good." A few minutes later, he had pinpointed the location.
"Great. Bobbi, tell Gutierrez and Rodriguez to meet us there. Let's go!"
They left and got on the Quinjets.

Sorry, I know this chapter isn't very good. The next one should be better!
