(A/N: as promised, here is a sketch of Genshuku. His face is a tiny bit feminine, and and he dislikes being teased about it. As always, enjoy the chapter :) )
(Aizen's p.o.v)
We walked through the so-called dreary hallway again. She just wrapped her arms around my neck, muttering things incomprehensibly, occasionally leaning her head against my chest, and staying quiet.
I opened the door to her room and set her down on the sofa. I called in an arrancar who can treat her and I watched as they did so.
She kept on staring at me the entire time. There was a look of worry (and also a hint of annoyance) in her eyes.
"Hey, hey, Creepzen. The blood on your face is weirding me out. Shouldn't you treat it?" She asked.
"Please don't move around too much, miss." The Arrancar said, continuing to treat her.
I chuckled and leaned against the wall, watching them. Memories have been getting more and more frequent than ever....It has been quite the flaw in my plans.
"THE BLOOD ON YOUR FACE, AIZEN!!! When I get out of-" She yelled, jerking a finger towards me, but that opened her wound and it made her slink back and groan.
I closed my eyes. "Don't be so reckless. You'll kill yourself."
She rolled her eyes and closed them too. "Yeah, yeah, shut up."
Silence passed in the room for a while. So now that I have seen the potential of her zanpakuto...
...what kind of purpose in my plans will fit her? A last resort? No...I already have the perfect tool for that.
"Aizen-sama. I am done treating her, so I'll take my leave." The arrancar said, standing up and giving me a bow before leaving the room.
I approached her, and then sat on the sofa with her. She looks so fragile right now, but at the same time...mysteriously beautiful.
She just moved and lay her head down on my lap, which quite surprised me. She just looked at me with a strange sadness in her eyes, which was a rare sight.
I exhaled a little and locked my eyes with her. "Is something the matter?"
However, she didn't say a word, she only reached for my face and carressed it gently. "You know, Aizen....it's pretty hard for me seeing you get hurt..."
"You didn't have to protect me! I hate seeing you get hurt!"
I tried to ignore it and wiped the blood off my face. "Don't be so concerned. You know very well I won't be going down that easily."
She buried my face on my stomach and let out a few groans. "My head's starting to hurt again..."
"Why are you getting these headaches anyway?" I asked.
"Nah, forget about it, maybe it's just hunger pangs." She said, turning again so she can have a comfortable position on my lap.
Somewhere deep down, I knew she was lying. There was definitely something she was hiding from me, and it seems like it's bothering me a little...
