The Comeback

Chapter 8

*CHRISTINA POV*

We are prepared. Peter and Cara are stealing some guns from knocked out guards, Caleb arranged the truck and is waiting outside for us.

'Zeke, you ready?' I shouted down the corridor. His brother's anniversary is today, so he is very slow at doing things.

I start to think about Tris. Why did she fake her death? Did she intend to cause heartbreak? What if she didn't fake her death. What if she was shot... but not with a bullet... damn I should've been Erudite.

'We have to wait for them two, what's taking them so long?' Zeke exclaimed. As soon as he finished, Cara came strolling in with a very angry look on her face, 'I am never doing something with him again, he is useless and weak'. Zeke and I burst into laughing fits.

'Guys, we have the guns and I think we should go, I saw someone in a wheelchair watching me in the corridor'. It has to be Peter. We all exchange looks and run, with Peter following closely behind.

We reach the open emergency exit that Four and Tris went through and we got into the truck parked in front.

'Caleb, have you located their truck?' Cara asks. Caleb gives a frustrated look 'it looks like Four used his Erudite brain cells and removed the tracking chip, and destroyed it'. Damn, how are we going to find them now, there is a small chance of them returning to Chicago, or his house as David has cameras everywhere, even inside houses, what a creep.

'So what do we do? We can't go back to the Bureau as they will arrest us.. or Chicago cause they will see us... Caleb is there any places nearby that David and his minions don't know about?' I ask, he must know, ever since we thought that Tris died, he'd been studying everything in the Bureau library, including the maps of this country we apparently live in.

'Urmmm.. we do have two places that are abandoned like Nebraska or Ohio... which one picks your fancy? I like Ohio, from looking at the map, its small and very cosy...' he goes on and on. Ohio seems interesting, strange but interesting, I wonder if Four and Tris are there.

'Okay Ohio it is, is that alright guys?' everyone nods, Caleb especially with a wide grin on his face.
