Nitori listened to you talk about your day. By the tone of your voice, he guessed that you had a good day today. While you were talking, he interrupted you.
"[L/N]-chan, I need to tell you something," he said, voice heavy and pained. You focused on him, immediately concerned.
"Of course. What is it?"
"I think...we should break up," he confessed.
"W-Wait what? Why? Nitori-kun, is everything alright? Was it something I did? Is something with me? Please, tell me," you pleaded to him with eyes growing more moist by the second. Nitori's heart was breaking by the second at how hurt you were. Why were you so affected? Why were you wasting your tears on someone like him?

"It's nothing about you [L/N]-chan. In fact, you're perfect. Everything about you is perfect. The problem lies with me. Every single day I ask myself, 'why is someone as flawless as [L/N]-chan with me?' I get so insecure every single time I'm with you and it's hard enough to not be enough for the swim team at times. Someone like you is more fit with Mikoshiba-senpai or Matsuoka-senpai. I just want you to be happy and not waste your time with someone like-" at this point, you were tired of Nitori bashing on himself. You hated the way he'd put himself down. So in order to stop his nonsense, you interrupted him with a kiss. When you pulled away, you scolded him lightly.
"Nitori-kun, don't you ever talk about yourself that way. You know damn well that you're the one that's so pure and such an angel. I don't care about Rin, nor Seijurou, or anyone. Okay? I don't. You're the one I chose, and I don't care about any of your flaws. I don't care if you're not masculine or anything like that. You choose to like me and you caught my attention. So I chose you. Don't ever put yourself down just because you think you don't deserve me. So just don't worry okay? I'm staying here and not planning on leaving," you said with such determination. At this point, it was Nitori's turn to cry. No one has ever said this to him. And the fact that someone like you genuinely wanted to be with him, made him fall in love with you even more. Nitori said nothing but instead relayed his emotions in one huge hug. You returned the hug and then kissed Nitori once again.
"You're all I want okay?" You assure him with a smile.
