So you've realized you made a mistake.
And you don't think you're woman enough to take
The responsibility and difficulty a baby would make
And now you've got to deal with a bit of heartbreak
Cause he'll leave when he knows it's his rep at stake
But no one need know about the bun about to bake
You consider the easy way out because all it would take
Is a trip to the clinic on the weekend break
So you act like you're fine and your problems are fake
And what you're about to do is totally great
But oh, for heaven's sake
How could you think like that? You're thinking of women's choice
But really you're silencing a voice
That could help it's generation
Maybe change the nation
But you'll never know
Because you were too scared not to go
And rip a soul out of its socket
Because you didn't want to deal with it
And now for every day you live
You'll contemplate what you had to give
And you'll wonder if it was enough because it was
You just didn't know it
But it'll be too late because
You've gone and ended it
Before you could ever knowBut now you do.
So tell me.
How many times can this nation be mistaken
Before they realize it's children's lives they've taken?
