"Okay, are you ready?" Doctor Mendez asked me and in which I answered definitely yes because I want to see this tiny human already.
As the doctor put the gel on my tummy, I felt Enzo's grip tightened and his heartbeat grew faster. To be honest, we're still not okay but let's face it: This is his right. I don't want to restrict him from meeting our child because that's so ruthless and being ruthless is not my thing.
"Okay let me scan first your tummy, Mommy Dan" After a few minutes doctor Mendez smiled widely at us and said where our baby is on the screen and something's not right. When I asked doctor Mendez about this, she simply said "Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Gianelli, it looks like you will have a pair twins coming."
This news made me cry... again and Ezio just look at me like it's the best thing that had ever happened to him. After the ultrasound, we walked hand in hand like nothing bad happened for the past few months. Like Lila didn't happened and just thought of her already can already send the storms here in the hospital.
"Would you like something to eat, Dan?" Ezio asked me as he helped me get in the car.
"Can you buy some pineapple slices? I've been craving for that since this morning.."
"Sure, but do you want to eat in a restaurant before we go home? I know a good place that I'm sure you will love" Ezio seemed eager and those wide eyes is damn irresistable.
"Hmm. Okay, just buy those pineapple slices please?"

For a while I thought Ezio took me back in time but it's just the restaurant's interior. It's very unique and very romantic.
Just as Ezio and I walked through the place, an old, stout man just hugged Ezio like he knows him. They spoke in Italian, in which I don't understand and I just scan the beautiful place. I notice that pictures were posted on the wall, specifically, family pictures.
I felt Ezio's hand on my waist and I think he introduced me. We shook hands and they took me to a very secluded place in the restaurant and the guy left us.
"His name is Alfonso but I used to call him Nonno, or grandfather. I met him when I was a kid and kinda helped him in upgrading this restaurant. This restaurant is older than us and it has been pass from generations to generations, that's why it's very dear to him." Ezio explained.
"I kinda notice those family pictures a while ago and they are quite a large happy family." I smiled and absentmindedly rub my belly
"I know and believe me, I want to give that to you"
