Licorice Lies- Wanted but toxic lies.
It becomes strenuous to forget those lies,
Harder to convince them as mere disguise,
Those lies are all you ever wanted to hear,
And thus even lies sound melodious to my ear,
Incredible how the deceit is my fantasy,
Credulous how the perjury drove me to ecstasy,
For once I felt enough and content, it was euphoric,
Toxic it is for me, like every other drug like licorice.
It becomes impossible to forget the lies when those lies are all you ever wanted to hear. More difficult when those lies would be the only way you would ever hear them.
