Not that I was in some happy garden,
But before the encounter, I used to smile.
When the hopes got crushed the last time,
It left me in a place a shade darker.
And that was the vantablack palace,
High dark walls that echo your fears.
The fort not to protect but withheld and isolate,
Only a shade blacker but it leaves no hope or smile.
Sometimes not so often it happens so that the words you received with the greatest joy would one day cause you immense grief.
