Bistre and Onyx are both different shades of black and for an ordinary person (somebody who is not an artist), it is both just black. For an artist they are as different ans green and blue is to the rest.

Because both the facts just don't link,
I just can't reckon the farce, so I can cure,
It's just tangled up in an abominable sync,
Either your love or your regret can be pure,
The lust or the chaste deserves to stink,
While one story covers up all the lure,
No excuses can be given to all the wink !
