The Darkest Shade Of Black

Reverting.

Ever painted a shade that you wanted to erase?
I have, not just once but a hundred times to end the phase.

Once the love red, then to hide it the angry red,
Which I regretted so I repainted and got the hue of ugly blood.

Then people started throwing lumps of purple and black at me,
I wanted to erase it all as they saw the only colour I never painted.

I tried to paint it all white, at the end all I got was shades of black,
From anger, love, hate, regrets, misfortunes, loneliness - all that's dark.

You cannot change the colour once it's done, unlike the sketch it's pennant,
All you can do is paint it all to black, fill the light you once had with tears remnant.

You can only paint a painting once.

In simpler words you can only live your life once, no later amends would yield you the hue you want it to be once it's wrong.
