I gasped. Surely this mysterious, sexy beast could not be a mythical creature of darkness! But he had said he was a vampire, so of course I believed him. After all, Aaron was my soul mate and we were destined to be together, and he would never lie to me. Probably.
I slowly turned back to the board, my eyes wide. As the bell rang, my brain was still in shock from all the info I had gained during my 80-minute class.
As I gathered my things, I saw Courtney walk around me to stand next to Aaron.
"Hi, Aaron!" She said in a chirpy voice.
"Hi." He responded shortly, sounding a bit irritated.
Courtney ignored his tone and continued, "So, like, I was, um, wondering if you were doing anything on Friday?"
I suddenly straightened, curious about what she could have meant by 'doing anything on Friday'.
Aaron gave Courtney a puzzled look. "Not that I know of, why?"
"Do you want to, like, go to the movies or something?"
I almost dropped my textbook. I stared at Courtney, first surprised, then filled with rage. HELL NO, that bitch was not trying to steal my man! And right in front of me, too!
Aaron looked at Courtney, looking slightly disgusted, before replying with a simple, "No."
"Are you sure? We could do something else-"
"No."
"Oh, um, okay. I'll you later, I guess." With that, Courtney turned and walked past me, snapping her fingers in a sassy manner, before sashaying out of the room.
Aaron looked at me before he, too, walked out. I angerly stuffed my book into my bag and stormed out of the room, heading to my next class.
I fumed over Courtney as I walked. 'I can't believe that skank tried to act all nice to me, then try to steal Aaron from me!' I thought, 'I have to get back at her. But how?'
