As I walked, I pondered the many ways I could get back at Courtney. Replace her face cream with foot cream? Trick her into eating "nurtition" bars that make you gain weight? Sneak an angry raccoon into her house?
I was so deep in thought that I actually walked straight into a wall and dumped my books onto the floor. I sighed in frustration and thought, 'could this day get any worse?' just as I saw someone out of the corner of my eye crouch down next to me. What I saw was an incredibly sexy guy.
He was at least 6 feet tall, muscular, tan, and wearing a football jersey. This guy was so sexy, I wouldn't surprised if Channing Tatum had tried to kill him for trying to take the 'Sexiest Man Alive' title from him.
I gaped at the football player stupidly and shyly said, "Um. Hi."
He gave me a dashing smile and replied in a deep manly voice, "Hi. I'm Tyler. What's your name?"
"Hailey," I grinned, staring deeply into Tyler's deep, beautiful brown orbs.
"Nice to meet you, Hailey. Now, what were you doing walking into that wall?" He jokingly said.
"Uh, I just wasn't paying attention, I guess..."
"Well, try to be more careful next time, okay?" He smiled charmingly again. "Here are your books."
I took them, blushing. I blushed even more when Tyler took off his football jersey.
"Wow- I mean, what are you-?"
"I have to take my shirt off every 10 minutes," he explained. "I have such rock-hard abs and pecs, the principal made me sign a contract when I became quarterback to take my shirt off every so often to gain respect from guys and make girls faint."
"Oh," I said, distracted by the aforementioned abs and pecs. "So, you play football?"
"I do," he replied proudly. "You should come see me play, the first game is in 2 weeks."
"Cool, I will."
"Cool," he said. "Well, I should probably get to class..."
"Oh! Right. Class," I remembered, finally not looking at his chest.
"See ya later, Hailey." He slipped his jersey back on and made his way to class.
"Bye," I called, walking to class, forgetting all about Courtney.
