Why am I doing this? Why am I walking behind them when I could've declined the offer anyways. I don't want to talk to any of them. I don't want to meet him. I don't want to tell the truth and I'm surely not going to tell the truth. Right?
Finally we walked to their mansion. By mansion I mean five to six story building. It was fancy, well of course.. They're idols, aren't they? I heard Mira gasp behind me.
"We'll be back" they said and walked into the house.
"I'm not going to tell the truth, so just stick with it, okay?" I said to Mira, with pleading look in my eyes.
"Why?" Mira asked. "You need to tell him. You want to wait another year to see if he remembers you? He's an idol, he doesn't remember girls like you."
"Are you trying to make me angry, that I would give up and tell him the truth?" I calmly asked.
"Stop being so arrogant." when she told me that I completely dozed off. That's what Taehyung told me. And I'm still wondering; was that truth? Or he just said that to make me stop..? "Did it worked?" Mira said.
Should I? Or no?
"Not a little bit." I said now speaking coldly with her. She frowned.
"Hey, c'mon-"
"Hi Iseul.." I heard behind me. I knew it was Taehyung from the very familiar voice.
"Hi." I said bringing my I don't fucking care accent. "What did you want to talk to me about?"
"You left me there confused and I don't like when people do that. So just explain." He smirked and I don't even know why.
"I don't have anything to explain. Especially to you" I scoffed.
"Do I need to remember you or something?" He was just messing with my mind, I knew it.
"No."
"So why did you told me so?" Taehyung stepped a little closer.
"Because.." and that's when I lost all of my words, because I saw a pendant on Taehyung's neck.
"Well? Cat got your tongue?" He laughed, while I watched his pendant. It was the same I had. And now I remember giving it for his birthday and we promised that we'll never going to leave each other. I didn't think for long, I just quickly pulled out the same pendant from my pocket. I always carry it with me, whenever I go. The reason why I'm not wearing it is that it's too much. Too much pain.
When I did that, Taehyung's eyes grew open. He just looked at the pendant I held.
"W-where did you g-get that?" He started.
"Four years ago I gave the same one to my best friend, to remember each other.." I smiled at the memory. "And we promised that we'll never leave.." Taehyung looked at me still wide eyed. "I guess it was all a lie, because clearly he doesn't remember me.." I looked away feeling the tears form.
Then I felt his arms around me. He hugged me, but I didn't.
"I'm not letting you go until you hug me." He said. "I'm sorry Iseul.. I'm so so sorry.."
I didn't know what to feel. He was here, he remembered me. I wrapped my arms around him and he just pulled me closer. It was so right but so wrong at the time. Seeing my best friend come back to me right in front of me, was an unspeakable feeling.
"If you want me to live, you better let me go right now, because I'm losing all my oxygen.." I laughed. He unwrapped his arms and looked at me.
"I'm sorry.." He said again. "Being an idol is a hard thing.. It's just that I couldn't take a good look at you..wow you have changed.."
"What do you mean I have changed? Look at you. Where did your dark hair go?" I looked at him closely. I reached out to brush away a few strands of hair falling on his eyes. "You have changed a lot and I didn't. I just don't understand how you forgot about me, we promised each other, didn't we?"
"I'm sorry.. Please forgive me Iseul..." He pleaded.
"Tae you know I can't say no to your puppy eyes.." I laughed.
"I know, that's why I'm doing it.. C'mon you need to properly meet the others.." He grabbed my arm.
"That's a bad idea..." I said.
"No it's not. Your friend can go too.." He said looking at Mira. I completely forgot about her. I looked at her and she just nodded, following after us.
"Okay..." I said.
~
"Guys!" He shouted when we entered the house. It's a bad idea...it's a bad idea... That just kept racing through my head.
"What is she doing here?" I heard Jimin ask with disgust, clearly putting emphasis on 'she'. Since when did this small guy became so mean towards me?
"She's my best friend, so don't treat her bad.." I felt when Taehyung held my hand tighter.
"Your what now?" Yoongi choked on his lollipop.
"My long lost best friend." He said and I looked down. Why I'm suddenly feeling so small around him?
"Cool." Jungkook nodded. It was awkward. They all looked at me and Mira, while I just looked at mine and Taehyung's hands. Then I felt something...like butterflies in my stomach.. NO. I don't want to feel them again! I nervously let go of his hand and he looked at me from the lost contact. Mira just laughed at that, because she saw me blushing, while I tried to hide that.
Jungkook POV
She just stood there holding Taehyung's hand.
"She likes our Taehyung's doesn't she?" Jin whispered to us, while I watched as she blushed after letting go of his hand.
"We need to stop her.. Obviously she's not good enough for him." Jimin said.
"What is wrong with you?" I looked at him. "She's perfect."
"Just don't tell us that you like her too.." Suga rolled his eyes.
"I didn't say anything about that!" I whisper-shouted.
"Of course you didn't.." Hoseok smirked while watching Iseul's friend, who was standing behind her back.
