#5 - Interesting Thought

Natalie's P.O.V.

I had been hanging out with Una today since she wasn't doing anything at all.

We had been staying over at her house eating ice cream and watching a movie. 

It got boring so we just started talking about stuff. 

Going from animals to butter to Aster and finally all crazy things.

"So, I figure you would ask Aster out soon?" I said.

Una looked surprised and shook her head. 

"I'm not ready yet," she said. "I know I have a crush for him, but I'm really not interested to go on a date now."

"Well, just not right now?" I asked.

"I just hope he doesn't have any girlfriend so it would make me better when I ask him out."

I sighed and then finished my ice cream. 

"You never know if he might like you too," I noted.

Una shrugged and said, "Eh, I never hear him talk about any other girls though."

"Besides you..."

"Huh? What did you say?"

"Oh, nothing," I said getting up and putting the bowl in the sink.

Una followed me with more backup questions. 

It got me to the point where I just finally admitted it.

"Okay!" I said. "I said besides you since he asks on what you do and stuff, but I don't know if he likes you back though."

"Wait," Una said. "He asks you questions about me?"

I nodded and then Una seemed surprised.

"I figure we can seek more info on this if you do what I can offer," she commented.

"Which is...?" I said.

"You ask him if he likes somebody! Just someone, and if he does, gives hints to him about me."

I then looked interested in that idea. 

"I might do that, but he's busy today, and you didn't want to hang out with him yesterday at all. He got lonely."

Una laughed at my sentence. "He told me that he was helping his brother out. I didn't want to bother him at all."

I nodded and looked at the time and realized I was a little late for something. 

"Oh shoot! I got to meet Nathaniel at the pizza place like I said!" I told her.

"You better go with your future husband," Una said.

I then shook my head and said: "I got to go, but I'll call you later, okay?"

Una nodded and said before I left her house.

"Be safe!"

I left driving off while I had some questions if Una had feelings for Aster and the opposite way too. 

I might have the two of them really together.
