#13 - A Crazy Midlife Crisis

Natalie's P.O.V.

Finally back at school and I just saw Rose and Selena all happy about the drawing I was gonna give to Una.

We were in one class just waiting for Una since we were so eager to see her expression.

The bell rang and then the door closed and I was confused since Una never was late or missed a class. 

She was always on time for it.

"Is she here?" Selena asked me.

I shrugged. 

"Seems like we might see after school," I noted.

"I hope she's okay..." Rose said.

All of us dealt with a class and then lunch and more classes until after school when we finally called Una and or Aster.

I called Aster, and he answered a bit late.

"Hello?" he said.

"Aster!" I said. "Have you seen Una? She didn't come to school today."

"She didn't?" Aster said surprised. "Seems like she must've taken it too hard."

"Took what too hard?" 

"The breakup..."

It hit me really hard on my stomach that the fact that Una and Aster broke up for some reason. 

It made me so mad inside that I wanted to see what was going on.

"You two broke up?" I said loudly. "What happened?"

"She got mad because she thought that I was cheating on her with my best friend who apparently was a girl," Aster said. "I never even did, and she just left me saying that she will never see my face or anyone's ever again."

"Do you know where she is?"

"No... Figured she might be at her house, but there was something up with her when I texted her."

"What was it?" I said. 

At this point, Rose and Selena were listening in on the whole thing too.

"Apparently, she was dating a guy while we were together and she admitted it over texting me and I just seemed shocked..." Aster said almost hearing him about to cry. "She really was serious about it since she went into detail too..."

"Okay, just listen, we'll try to find Una to see where she is, okay? Let's just see what happened throughout this whole thing and we'll settle it before anything else gets out of hand."

"All right."

"Okay, talk to you later!" I ended the call.

He hanged up the phone while I put my phone away.

"She would really do something like that?!" Selena shouted.

"I don't know!" I replied. "Maybe not, but something that would've made her do this. Let's just find her!"

Rose, Selena and I went to Una's house first thing to see if she was there.

When we got there, I ringed the doorbell and waited. 

"I think I hear something from her room," Rose commented.

We went to the side of the house and saw Una's window open and heard music playing.

"One of us got to check it out," Selena said.

Rose backed out while I stood where I was. 

"I might as well," I muttered.

Selena and Rose helped me up to Una's window and I managed to grab it before falling. 

I climbed myself into her room before seeing what was there...

Una was lying on the ground with a gun in her hand and blood...
