#21 - Finding Out A Secret

Natalie's P.O.V.

Ever since the party, I had been feeling super energetic since I woke up for some reason the next day since I drank a lot of soda from playing those dancing games. 

It really was fun since I was able to meet Abel from High School again, but he really grew out his beard instead which made him more appealing to some girls.

"I was just wondering if you want to just stay here since I know you really are tired," I asked Nathaniel.

Nathaniel sighed and stretched his body out. 

"Go ahead, I might as well just lay here and sleep," he told me.

I smiled and went to kiss him on the lips. 

"You always will be loved by me," I told him.

"And you will never be loved as much as I do for you," he said kissing me again.

I left the house to go meet up with Rose and Selena at the Starbucks around Rose's area. 

I still had some thoughts on what Selena would react if Rose and I told her about her and Ken.

Rose and I were already waiting for Selena, and Selena came in. 

"There you are!" I exerted with happiness.

"Pumpkin Spice... get... please..." Selena said sitting on the chair and resting her head.

I laughed with her still tired. 

"Just get me a regular coffee, and that's it," Rose told me.

I went to the cashier and ordered all of the drinks, even mine, and went to sit over by where Selena and Rose were at.

I handed them their coffee and then Selena started drinking her's quickly.

"You seem like the one to be really in the mood for Starbucks," I commented.

Selena nodded. 

"I was just busy hanging out with Ken at the party," she told us.

"Just hanging...?" Rose joked as she smiled at Selena.

Selena nodded and then Rose and I kept staring at Selena and then Selena got the whole thing. 

"You spied on me?!" she asked us.

"Not spied," I corrected her. "We were looking for you..."

"And we wanted to hang out with you," Rose followed. "Someone told me that you and Ken were in the room, but we didn't know you were the new Nathaniel and Natalie."

"All right... I might as well just say it instead," Selena told us.

Rose and I were eager to hear. 

"Ken and I were dating when I first told you that he liked me."

"Wait... That long?" Rose asked her.

Selena nodded. 

"How come you didn't want to just tell us?" I asked her.

"Because of the fact you would've been blabbering it to everyone else, but probably not true a lot though," Selena responded. "Should've thought of it twice."

Rose and I took a sip of our drink. 

"Yep, slurping the coffee and not making it a big thing while enjoying Starbucks," Selena added.

I laughed a bit. 

"We might as well see how this all happened," Rose told us.

"Why don't we just have you two do some investigating on this and see where you would get the info," Selena suggested.

Rose and I looked at each other and we nodded. 

Seems like a case now for Rose and me to find out how Ken and Selena got together without having us know it from the beginning.
