#18 - Pain...

Natalie's P.O.V.

I started hearing beeping noises and it made me feel more scared since I had no idea if I was really in this pain or something.

Some of the times, it would really make me feel empty since I never was in a hospital.

"Natalie?" I heard someone say. "Are you up?"

I started to move my head and then slowly opening my eyes to see that Rose and Selena were there.

"Looks like she's in Rose's spot now," Selena said. "Soon it'll be me too..."

"Selena...!"

I looked around and then said, "Who took me to the hospital?"

"We did," Selena replied. "After Ken helped you out with carrying you, he came along and dropped us off and he had to leave for an emergency."

"Did you even talk to Ken?"

Selena sighed.

"She did, but it was just for helping you out," Rose told me.

I nodded and felt my head in pain.

"Oh... My head hurts this bad, huh?" I asked myself out loud.

"Your injuries are really bad since they said you got some cuts on your face and your eye had something wrong with a blood clot after getting kicked," Rose stated. "You'll be better later probably at the end of Monday or something."

"Good... Is Nathaniel here?"

They both shrugged.

"You can call him if you want, but we don't know your password," Selena told me.

I looked shocked and remembered.

It's my birthday," I stated.

"I told you!" Rose shouted.

I put the password in and then went to call Nathaniel.

"Here, can you tell him?" I said offering one of them to talk to him.

Selena took the phone and went outside while Rose sat on the bed.

"I really never hoped that Zoey would do this to you," she told me.

I sighed. "Seems like Zoey just wants me to break up with Nathaniel. She might be suspended, right?"

"Yeah, they did for the rest of the month. At least she doesn't have to deal with making us feel really bad."

"What about the others that got into the fight?"

"They all got expelled since they had a history of doing that to certain people but not having anyone finding them until later on. Seems like they won't be around here for a while."

Selena came back into the room and handed me my phone.

"He's on his way, but you just need sleep since it'll take a while," she told me.

"Why?" I asked.

"I don't know, something to deal with visiting his parents today and he just found out since he was wondering why you weren't home earlier."

"Oh, okay..."

"If you want, we can stay here or leave if it's up to you," Rose insisted.

"Yeah, whatever you want," Selena added.

"I'd prefer if you stay here but just make sure that you have your chargers," I told them.

Rose and Selena laughed.

"Let's just go get them before they die," Selena told Rose.

They both left while I went on my phone and looking at everyone posting about the fight on Facebook.

The video was just two minutes and then it stopped after some other people with Ken stopped it.

I read some of the comments and saw that some people were getting mad since they had "beaten up a random girl or someone that didn't deserve it".

I heard a knock on the door.

"You can open it!" I shouted.

The door opened and I saw Nathaniel in a panic.

He came over to hug me and he said: "Are you okay?"

"Yeah..." I said in his shoulder. "I'm just lucky to be all right..."

"Seems like you can handle anything from someone. You really are strong."

I smiled while letting go of him.

"I just got some injuries from my arm and stomach too, but mostly my face," I told him.

Nathaniel touched my face with him concerned.

"You'll be better soon..." he told me.

He kissed me and then I just felt more happy that he was here comforting me.

I was just lucky to have him, Rose, and Selena.
