#16 - Months Later

Natalie's P.O.V.

*JANUARY*

It was already Winter and it was really now the Season to go ahead and be who you want to be to making a snowman and having a snowball fight. 

It was really different now since Aster no longer went to the school since he transferred out and didn't want to deal with this anymore. 

It just felt more different now since there was no longer a Una or Aster. 

It was now Rose, Selena and I as the same old way before. 

At least we would always enjoy our hangouts together.

I was waiting outside of Rose's house waiting for her to be ready with Selena.

"Does she take this long?" I asked Selena.

"Eh, depends," she said.

"By...?"

"The Seasons there are. Haven't you noticed since High School?"

I shook my head and then heard the door closed and saw Rose there.

"Finally!" I said. "We got to go!"

"I know!" Rose said running to the car. 

She got in and then I drove to school quickly.

When we got there, we quickly parked in one of the spots available. 

"We're gonna be late for the bell!" I panicked.

We heard it and then we all ran inside the school quickly before almost killing ourselves by bumping into other people.

Good thing it was quick since we were able to get to our lockers and change out of the Winter stuff and just get to the classes.

*ONE CLASS*

I was looking at my notebook to be able to solve the problem my teacher put up. 

It was really weird but I was able to finish it with what effort I had.

"Nati," Ken said.

I looked to my right and raised my eyebrows.

"Can I use your notebook?" he asked.

I brushed a sigh as I handed him my notebook. 

"Thanks!" he replied.

I nodded and continued to finish the problem. 

It took a while before getting the answer and double checking it.

"Your smartness helped me understand it more clearly," Ken commented.

"You're in Honors, you should be able to solve this stuff too," I replied.

"I really can't much, since I was just following what my friends said about the stuff and I just copied and all of that."

"At least you're able to not get caught."

The bell ringed with my enthusiasm pretty high for this problem. 

"Leave the papers on the table!" my teacher told me.

I got up and then put my paper on the table to see Rose there, and I seemed shocked.

"We got to meet Selena by the soda machine since she wants to tell us something," she said.

We both went and waited while Selena came over and just kept breathing hard.

"What is it, Selena?" I asked Selena.

She put her hand up to me and got a hold of herself. 

"Ken actually likes me..." she muttered.

"Really!?" Rose and I said loudly.

Selena nodded. "I heard a friend of mine, you know Melody?"

"Yeah," I said.

"Well, she told me that Ken actually likes me a lot!"

I laughed while she just kept trying to calm down.

"Let's just get to lunch before we can starve ourselves to death," I told them.

We all went there and listened more and more about this whole Selena and Ken thing. 

Seems like it was that type of liking that I had for Nathaniel.
