#17 - Another Thing To Deal With

Natalie's P.O.V.

After dealing with what happened to Una, I had just felt more different about the people I care about. 

I know that Rose, Selena, and Nathaniel were the most important people in my life as of right now, but seeing everyone else is more different.

It got worse since Zoey was at my school now, and I had to deal with her same attitude since High School. 

She didn't even have a chance to leave me alone since she kept calling me a whore and a betrayer since Nathaniel left her for me.

I had school on Friday so it was good for me to just deal with her for a day and then just leave for the weekend.

I was in the hallway grabbing my stuff when Zoey pushed the locker to the side of my head hard and I just felt the pain and looked at Zoey.

"At least you can feel real pain," she said looking back at me.

I didn't say anything and just sighed and closed my locker and going to my class.

When I got into my seat, I took out my small mirror and then looked at the side of my head and saw nothing but just feeling the numbness a bit.

"...I heard that Zoey got into this class too," somebody said.

I looked behind me and then looked around to see Zoey and then saw her sitting in the corner with some other girls that looked like trouble too. 

This school was all types of people, but mostly smart ones in my class.

*AFTER CLASS*

I got out of my seat and then heard some whispers from some people. 

"So you think it's good for you to date him?" Zoey called out.

I looked behind me and saw her in my face, literally almost about to hit her face onto mine.

"He never left you for me, okay?" I told her. "At least I don't have to look so desperate for getting him back."

Zoey then looked madder and then tried to hit me but I moved back quickly and then she kept coming at me. 

I kept blocking her hits before I could finally hit her.

Out of nowhere, I felt a punch directly in my face and it wasn't Zoey. 

I just fell to the ground and then kept punched over on my head and my arms and side of my stomach. 

It lasted for a few minutes before somebody stopped it and then made them all run away.

I felt the blood going from my nose and sort of from my eye since someone kept kicking my eye repeatedly. 

Must've made it bleed a bit bad since I couldn't move much.

"Who was that?" someone murmured. "I can't believe they did that!"

I just tried to move back up since this happened before I was supposed to go to another class.

My eye was really hurting me and so was my nose. 

My head was just telling me to just get up and just go to the bathroom.

I got against the lockers and then started to slide up and then just felt myself about to just pass out now. 

I had no idea why it might've been the fact I got up so quickly.

"Natalie?" Ken said pushing through some people.

I looked at him before I saw darkness around my eyes and fell forward, landing on the ground.
