Back at it

Will Couldn't find Nico again this morning.

This was starting to get frustrating.

I tried scanning the camp again but no use.

Nico didn't want to be found.

I ran down the side of the camp looking around the sand dunes and trailing around the basketball court and the food court and all the other courts this camp has.

I suddenly stopped myself.

Was this becoming creepy and obsessive?

Could I not hold myself together long enough to get through the day without seeing Nico?

If that was true I needed to calm down.

There was a voice in my head telling me to find him anyway, just to make sure he was okay.

I pushed that thought out of my head.

A day without him.

Nothing wrong with that.

I walked towards my cabin.

I had been relieved of the infirmary considering it was my one day off.

Why not do something productive.

I reached for the Apollo door handle and walked inside.

I had made an exaggeration.

I realized that when I walked in the room.

A seemingly small group of people were gathered in the cabin.

All children of Apollo.

They turned towards me when the door opened.

Only about five people were there but I realized they were the ones closest to me.

Logan, Ricky, Aren, Natalie, and Eraina.

Aren rushed forward speaking quickly but softly.

"Will. We-we wanted to apologize about the others." Aren started.

There didn't seem to be anything around them, no hatred or difference just apology.

Ricky spoke next,"Eraina suggested... suggested we take another look at what the others had said and we feel bad about not standing up for you."

I became slightly misty eyed.

They had come together to apologize for not speaking against the others.

Logan piped up,"Will we're sorry and we just wanted to say... We support you."

Tears fell down Will's face before he could stop them.

The only people he had ever loved, his family supported him.

The five were aghast at this outbreak but they huddled around him all of them came in and hugged him.

No sign of fear or hatred just love.

That's all he had ever wanted.

He whispered in Eraina's ear as he hugged all of them, "Thank you."
