There was a soft whisper.

It crept up Nico's spine and into his ears.

A worry, a hate, confusion, understanding; Love.

Love for this boy that he just couldn't explain.

Love for this sunny blonde boy with beautiful blue eyes.

Love for someone who was so heartbroken, and yet loves, so much.

It was hard not to fall for him really, but sitting here in Will's arms Nico did.

Head over heels, into the depths of Tartarus (although the joke was cruel) in love.

That was the strongest love to him.

A love like Percy and Annabeth's.

Beautiful, strong, right.

Like this.

For a moment he didn't care.

He didn't care what people at camp say or who would forget him...

He only cared about Him.

The moment was over too quickly.

A faint whisper, an actual whisper, sounded out.

"Are you sure your brother won't notice your gone?" An unfamiliar voice asked.

It sounded female and well obviously human.

"He won't notice." Another, more familiar female voice replied.

"Are you sure?" The first asked again.

"Please, I'd bet you anything he's already out here, with Nico."

Nico jumped at the mention of his name.

He checked to make sure Will was still asleep.

He wasn't sure how he would react.

Your brother... I saw a flash of red under the trees.

Red, brother, familiar voice.

"Wait..." The familiar voice whispered.

I wanted to warn her about the wolves about well, us being here but my tongue was caught in my throat.

"The base of the tree, claw marks. They were here." The familiar one stated.

"Which means they're probably still out here." The other stated.

"We'll leave them to it wherever they are. When my brother sneaks off, let's just say it's for a good reason." I heard their voices come right below us.

I caught a glimpse.

It was that girl Eraina, and another girl.

I saw her before, maybe only for a brief moment.

It was the one who had been decked in black and had met Eraina, after she had talked to me.

I noticed now that she was wearing a black sports jacket with white stripes down the arms.

Eraina looked... Happy.

And believe it or not so was I.
