Chapter 24

Nelly's POV

Once we finish our race, that I won, Madison, cause I refuse to call her Maddy, said that she wanted to race me. I say,"No I'm good.." I hear Grayson chuckle next to me as we sit on the edge of the pool. I giggle and Ethan saids,"Ah come on Nelly, just one race." I say,"No way E." Grayson saids,"Don't make her do something she doesn't want to do." Ethan holds his hands up in surrender and I say,"Uhh I'll do one race!" Madison saids,"Yay! Let's start at the end then back here." I nod and go to the end.

Ethan and Grayson cheer us on as we get ready to start. I say,"On your mark, get set...grapes!" She dives in and I bursts out laugh and she looks back yelling,"What'd you do that for?!" I say,"I was just playin girl chill! Now let's start over." She huffs and walk back over and I say,"On your mark, get set.....Go!" We dive in at the same time and I go under, swimming as fast as I can, but that was a big mistake.

She's swimming hella wild! Like what the flip?! Her left arm hits my chest and her feet kicks the top of my head repeatedly. I spring out of the water before I get a concussion and scream,"AHH!! WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!" She look up at me dumbfounded but smirks a little and Grayson quickly lifts me up out of the water as I hold my head and now sore chest. He yells,"ETHAN YOU BETTER GET YOUR SKANK BEFORE I DO!!" Well he didn't have to call her a skank..

Ethan quickly helps her out of the water and pull her to the side yelling at her. Grayson carries me in the house to his bathroom and sit me on the counter saying,"Baby girl are you alright?! Where did she hurt you at?" I say,"My head, and my breast..She kicked me pretty hard.." He touches my head and I hiss in pain. He growls saying,"She's gonna pay.." I say,"You better not put your hands on her." He touches the side of my face saying,"Of course not, but I'll figure out something. She won't get away with hurting you."

I nod and he turns his attention down to my chest and lick his lips saying,"And y-you said these hurt too?" I nod with my eyebrow slightly raised and he reaches his hand down to touch them and I hiss again causing him to groan and lift me up off the counter and to his room, laying me on his comfortable bed. He lays my head down gently on his pillow and kiss the top of my head saying,"I'll be right back princess. I'm gonna get you some ice, don't go to sleep okay?"

I groan saying,"But I wanna come with youu..I know I'm gonna fall asleep here.." He smiles shaking his head, then he picks me up and I wrap my legs around his waist putting my head in the crook of his neck. He chuckles and holds on to my bottom as he walks down the stairs with me. Once we get down stairs he grabs two Ziplock bags and sit me down on the counter about to leave me there to put some ice in the bag. I pull him back and say,"Why'd you put me down?.." He rubs my back and say,"I have to get this ice baby girl.." He pulls away and I whimper just to see what he'll do and he quickly puts the ice in the bags and zip them up, then walk over to me and lift me up again, taking us back upstairs to his room.

Once we get back to his room he lays be back down on the bed and put the ice bag gently on my head and I hiss in pain saying,"Baby it hurts." He kisses my lips saying,"I know princess, the pain will go away before you know it okay?" I nod and he places the other ice bag on my breast and I tightly close my eyes shut at the pain and he kisses my lips again while rubbing my arm saying,"It's okay princess I got you, just don't go to sleep okay?" I nod and say,"I'll try.."

Grayson's POV

I get in bed next to her and say,"You want me to change your clothes for you?" She saids,"No Gray, but you could give me a t-shirt and some sweats pleasee?" I smile and say,"Of course princess." I get up and grab a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt for her and hand them to her. She twirls her finger around in a circular motion indicating for me to turn around and I do so while changing also.
