Grayson's POV

When we walk in, a girl, around our age, walks up to Nelly and asks,"Hi there! I'm Jessica, captain of the cheer team! Would you like to try out for the school cheerleading team?" Nelly saids,"Um isn't it almost the end of the school year? Why y'all doin try outs now?" Jessica saids,"Some of our teammates broke their ankles so we need some more teammates." She turns to me and ask,"Would you also like to try out also?"

I hear Nelly snickering next to me and I say,"I'm sorry but no I'm good." Nelly saids,"I wanna try out." I look at her surprised and say,"You sure?" She saids,"Why not? When is it Jessica?" She saids,"Great! Tomorrow after school!" She was about to walk away when Nelly calls her back and say,"What do I wear?" Jessica saids,"Um just some spanks and a t shirt!" Nelly nods and Jessica walks away.

I grab Nelly's hand and we walk to her locker. I say,"Do you even know how to cheer sweetheart?" She saids,"Of course I know how to cheer Gray. I was a cheerleader when I was thirteen, and I'm still just as flexible, so this should be easy." I say,"Well what else have you done, that I don't know about?" She saids,"Welllll I did dance, basketball, baseball, tennis, gymnastics and track." Wow, my baby's athletic. I say,"One day your going to have to show me some of your dance moves." She chuckles while blushing and we get my books from my locker and walk to class.

When we walk in Ms. Summers saids,"We're glad to have you back Grayson. How was your trip to New Jersey?" Nelly tries to walk to her seat but I pull her by her hand back and say,"It was great, thanks for asking." She saids,"No problem, I was wondering if you would like to help set up this schools spelling bee on Wednesday, if you don't mind?" I say,"No I don't mind, I'll do it." She smiles and say,"Thank you so much! Meet us in the cafeteria after school Wednesday then!" I nod and she walks back to her desk.

Me and Nelly walk over to our desks and I pull out her chair for her and she saids,"Thank you baby." I say,"Nessun problema principessa (No problem princess)." I sit down and we pull out our books and notebooks, and we do the work on the board, like we do every morning...

About thirty minutes into the lesson and the intercom in our class asks for Nelly to come to the front office. My first instinct was to go with her, but Ms. Summers told me not too. So Nelly got up and went to the front office, all I could do was wait..

Nelly's POV

Once I reach the front office, I notice my mom in there pacing back and forth with a worried expression on her face. I walk up to her and touch her shoulder and ask,"Ma what's going on? Why you look so worried?" She turns around quickly and hug me saying,"On my way to work I got a email saying that Peter was released today. I was so worried. I didn't call you cause I didn't want you to get in trouble with your teacher, but I need you to listen to me. Keep your eye for him or anything suspicious today please. Just stay alert for me please can you do that for me?" I just stood there taking in everything she was saying..

He's back, and I don't know what he's capable of. What if he's out for revenge? What if-"Nelly honey did you hear me?" I nod and say,"Ma what if he's out for revenge or somethin? What if he has someone watching me? What if he wants to hurt Grayson?" She saids,"Nelly calm down okay? That's why I said to be alert of your surroundings and all that. If you see or feel anything suspicious you let me, Grayson, Valentino or your dad know immediately alright?" I say,"Yes mam, I will."

She gives me a hug and say, while pulling back,"Alright I gotta go to work now. Remember what I said alright? Love you." I say,"Okay, and I love you too." She nods and say 'bye' as she walks out of the school building.
