Maddie's POV
It's finally the end of the day and we can finally go home. After coming out of chemistry, I went to my locker to get my stuff when I see Diggie, I walk up to him. Hey Diggie, I was wondering if you wanted to come over and play some basketball after school? I ask nervously. Yeah that sounds great! How about 6:30? He asks. Perfect! I say with a smile. Alright, well see you later Rooney! He says with that smile that I love. Wait what am I saying? Am I falling for Diggie? End of POV
Diggie's POV
I get home and do my homework, then I had supper and then I got changed to go play basketball with Maddie. Mom I'm going over to Maddie's to play basketball, I shout. Alright don't stay too late, she shouts back. I leave and head over to Maddie's. I get there and I see Maddie shooting hoops, every time I see her play it makes me fall for her even more. Hey Rooney! I say. She turns around and says Sup Diggie. Are you ready to get beaten? I ask. Ha in your dreams, she says sassy. We play one on one for 2 hours and now it 8:30. Well I better get going it's getting late, I say sadly. I turn to leave when I hear Diggie wait! Yells Maddie. As soon as I turned around I feel her lips pressed against mine, I instantly kiss her back wrapping my arms around her waist as she wraps her arms around my neck and runs her fingers through my hair. We pull away for air, Maddie will you be my girlfriend? I ask. Yes I would love to, she says excitedly and jumps into my arms and we kiss again. We pull away, well I got to go.
