Maddie's POV
I turn around when I hear Diggie's voice, let me guess Joey told you about this? I assumed, no he didn't tell me what you were doing so I decided to come see you to shooting hoops. He says disappointed, are you actually mad at me? I ask while shouting, I'm not mad just disappointed that's all. He replied, are you serious? I ask, yeah I am, he answers. I sigh and look at him, I quit the medication for a reason, I say angrily. Oh yeah what's that? He asks remarks, that medication did nothing except screw me up, I know I was supposed to take it to control my nerves but it did nothing and besides I wasn't ready now I am taking it slow. I say frustrated, we could of got it checked by the doctor. He says a little calmer, even if we did he would give me more stuff when really all I need is time. I say calmer looking down starting to tear up. I just don't want my basketball career coming to an end. I say as more tears come down my cheeks. Then I see Diggie approach me and pull me into a hug and kisses my forehead and rests it on my shoulder while he rubs my back. End of POV
Diggie's POV
It was honestly kinda scary fighting with Maddie because we've never fought before and that was our first disagreement. I just hope our fights in the future won't ruin our relationship because she means the world to me. I understand why she's so sad, so I decided to help her get her confidence back and hopefully go back to being on the team. To be honest it is hard seeing the love of your life so sad and can't enjoy a passion that they've had for a long time. We finally pull away when she calms down and I kiss her passionately on the lips and she replied by doing the same while putting her hands in my hair while I put my arms around her waist and we make out for a while.
