Maddie's POV
Diggie and I just finished breakfast, so what do you want to do today? I ask, it depends on what you're able to do. He replies looking at me, we can go to the park. I suggest, sounds good but are you sure that you can handle it? He asks, I don't see why not, besides I want to get out of the house. I say excitedly, we clear the table and I told mom where we're going. At least the park is only a ten minute walk from my place so it's not so bad, we walk hand in hand till we got to the park. We kept walking and decided to sit down on a bench. I rest my head on his shoulder while watching some young kids play. Do you think we'll ever have kids of our own? He asks looking at me. I look at him in the eye, hopefully one day but not just yet I just want to get through high school and enjoy our relationship. I answer with a smile and kiss him on the cheek. End of POV
Diggie's POV
Maddie and I are just sitting on a park bench and talking about lots of stuff then we started talking about kids. To be honest I do want kids but Maddie made a good point, we should get through high school and enjoy life while we're still young and enjoy our relationship. We decided to go get some ice cream, I noticed Maddie's been off lately. Hey Mads is everything ok? I ask, yeah why wouldn't it be? She responds, it's just I've noticed that you're more quiet kinda sad lately so I was getting kinda worried. I answer, well to be honest I really miss basketball and it took up most of my time but now I can't really do a whole lot without being sore. She replied with tears coming down her face. It breaks my heart seeing her so sad and all her hard work down the drain, I wrap my arm around her. Babe I know it's going to be hard but it could've been worse and you'll be better before you know it. I say trying to cheer her up while she cries into my chest. She finally calmed down and kisses me on the lips and I kiss back. Once we pulled away, thanks for cheering me up, I don't know what I would do without you, I love you so much she says looking me in the eye. I love spending time with you so it works out great and I love you more, I reply. Not even possible, she says giggling. Oh I think it is, I say and kiss her on the neck and she giggles again. We say goodbye to each other and I go home and have supper and text some of my friends then go to bed. End of POV
