Maddie's POV
What are you doing?!? Joey exclaimed, ssshhh, I say getting him to lower his voice. He finally lowers his voice and asks again, what are you doing? I sigh, I'm shooting hoops because I really miss it and I'm not planning on taking my medication. I answer, what are you talking about, you have to take the medication. He says, honestly all it does is mess me up and I'm pretty sure the seizure happened because I wasn't ready but now that I'm slowly playing again I don't see why I can't be on the team. I reply, you know Mads everyone has known you as a fighter and I'm proud of you getting back into baseball but I don't want you hurt again, he says concerned. Look I really appreciate it that you care and support my decision and I promise I won't push myself as hard as I was before. But please don't tell anyone what I'm doing or else things won't turn out well. I say, ok fine I'll keep my mouth shut but please be careful. He says concerned, I will and thanks for not saying anything, then I give him a hug. No problem Mads then he goes in. I sigh of relief and take a few more shots. End of POV
Joey's POV
After that talk I had with Maddie, I think she's crazy but I'm proud of her for fighting for her passion. I go inside and into the living room and everyone looks at me, what's she up to? Mom asks, not a whole lot just thinking. I answer, geez this isn't easy keeping her secret in but I have to I told Maddie I wouldn't say anything. Everyone starts leaving except Diggie, I start going upstairs until Diggie calls me back. Joey we need to talk... He began. End of POV
