Cedric Diggory's Little Sister

Chapter 3

*****Rosalyn's POV*****

***1 and a half months later***

I run down the stairs to see Cedric leaning on our trunks. I smile and walk over to him. He wraps me in a hug and holds me close. Feet come stomping over and I look over to see Joe running over. I'm moved behind Cedric as Joe gets closer. I look at feet as he stops a few metres away from Ced. "Well, hi there family! Great to see you again." Joe laughs coldly. I look up at my twin to see the changes in his face since I last saw him. "Joey? What happened?" I ask, stepping toward him. He stares at me with wide eyes and pulls me into a tight hug, crying his eyes out. I rub his back in a soothing way and hum a little tune. After a few minutes he pulls away and looks into my eyes. "I'm sorry I didn't stand up for you." He whimpers. I shake my head and stand on my tiptoes, placing a kiss on his forehead. "It's the holidays Joey. Where's your trunk because I'm dragging you onto the train in a few hours?" I state. He gives me a weak smile and lifts me over his shoulder,running up to where his common room entrance is.

I step inside and spot Harry, Ronald and Hermione sitting by the fireplace. The portrait slams shut and they look up in shock. "Rosalyn? What are you doing in here?" Mione gasps in shock. "I'll finish packing my trunk Rosa. Can you wait down here for me?" Joey says and I nod. I perch myself on the sofa opposite the others and look through my enchanted bag for my notebook. "I heard you were wanting to know about Nicolas Flamel from Mione and have just the book guide for you." I say quietly. They look at the girl beside them in shock as I pull the page out and pass it to Harry. "You'll find the estimated place of the books right beside the title and the pages you should look at on the back of the paper." I add. Harry quickly stands up and pulls me to my feet, wrapping me in a hug. I hug back for a few minutes before I pull away. Joe runs down with his trunk and Owl cage and smiles at me. I wave at him and walk to his side, taking Nisbet, his White Owl. "We should head down for breakfast." I say. He nods and drags his trunk out.

I watch as the train station disappears in the distance and turn back to Cassia who was pawing at my hair that slung over my left shoulder. "I can't wait to see Europe." I say to my siblings. They nod in agreement and I rest my head on Joe's lap, drifting off to nap.

I feel wind brushing my air around as I bob up and down. I open my eyes a bit to see Joe pushing our trolley along. I give him a tired smile and cuddle into Cedric's neck. "Come on Rosa. I know you're awake and I'll only carry you to the car." Cedric says, rubbing my back.

I sit in middle of the backseat once Joe climbs inside and buckle in. A few minutes later Cedric climbs in beside me and we head off. "Have we got the cameras?" I question Mom. She turns around from the Passager seat and passes me the bag of them. "Plenty of them." Mom states. I send her a smile and put the bag of cameras into my enchanted bag.

I sprint through the local store and grab a few scrapbooks and things to decorate them before heading to the checkouts with the trolley of gifts. I pay for everything and run back to the car.

***1 week later***

"Say 'cheese'!" The woman calls as we stand in front of the Eiffel Tower as a family. The camera clicks and we stay still for a few moments before I run over to the woman for the camera. "Thank you very much!" I smile and run back to my family.

***1 month later***

I look through the photo collection and smile as I remember where we went. Buckingham Palace, The Leaning Tower of Pisa, Big Ben, The Eiffel Tower, Stonehenge, The Roman Colosseum, Arc de Triumph and The Louvre. I stifle a laugh at the way we were being goofy in multiple pictures. I put the under the cover of one of my scrapbooks and put it inside my bag. I quickly follow Cedric and Joey off the train and we head toward the carriages. I spot Mione inside one of them and climb in beside her. "Harry and Ronald sent me an Owl over the break saying that your book reference worked wonders and they borrowed all of the books on the list and found everything that was needed." She smiles. I give her a small smile in return and dig through my bag, pulling out three packages. "Here's Harry and Ronald's Christmas presents but the biggest one is yours." I explain. She nods and gives me a hug as the carriages stop. I climb off and run over to Cedric.

I walk into the Great Hall with Lydia and Kayla to see Harry and Ronald looking toward us. I give them a small smile and head over to the Hufflepuff table where Ced sits waiting.

I walk through the the corridors until I reach the flying lessons area with the girls. Everyone heads to a broom and waits for Madame Hooch to arrive.

I sit waiting for Professor Sprout to step out of her talk with Ced in a dead silent area. I sigh and tap my feet on the floor. The door swings open and Professor Sprout signals for me to step inside. "Ms Diggory. Your brother and I have decided that you will have no punishment for what happened with the brooms and the Ravenclaw boy." Sprout says. I look at Ced in shock. "Really?" I question. He nods and pulls me into a hug. I hug back until we are sent out of the office.
