Cedric Diggory's Little Sister

Chapter 9

*****Rosalyn's POV*****

***6 months later***

I sprint through the corridors as I tie my hair back. I spot the floo powder chimney and run over to it. I collect the powder and step in. "The Three Broomsticks!" I yell and flash out.

I turn into my Doe form as I step outside and take off toward Hagrid's Hut.

I spot Harry and Hermione looking around and I change into my human form. "Harry! Mione!" I call and run over to them. They look up and their eyes widen. "Rosa!" Mione squeals. "I came as fast as I could after my class. What are you doing out here?" I say, hugging Harry. I spot Ronald a few feet away staring at me in shock. "Rosa?" He gasps. I wave and he gives me a hug. I look his shoulder and pull him behind me quickly. I pull my wand out and point it at the large dog. It snarls and jumps at us. I quickly shoot a spell at it and pull the others away. "Rosa? Can you take Scabbers for me and take him to safety?" Ron whimpers as the dog gets back up. I quickly grip onto the rat and take off running toward the castle. I bark rings out and I fall to the ground, being dragged backwards. "Help me!" I cry out, thrashing my legs around. I'm pulled down a hole. "ROSA!" Harry screams out in horror. I'm released in a dusty room. I let out a whimper and crawl to the other side of the room. I hear another few voices outside and my hopes perk up.

I grip my left hand around the bite while my right hand grips Scabbers when Harry, Ronald, Mione, Cedric and Joey run in and look around. "He's an Animagus! You have to get out of here!" I yell as blood pools out of my wound. Joey quickly rushes over to my side and lifts me up. "I don't think you should do that." His voice croaks out. I let out a whimper and Joe holds me closer. "Get lost!" He snaps. "Your Sirius Black!" Cedric gasps, pointing his wand at the man. "Cedric, Joseph and Rosalyn Diggory. My niece and nephews." He croaks. Cedric quickly steps in front of us. "Get away from my family and their friends!" Cedric snaps. "Just give him to me and I'll leave." Uncle Sirius states. Hermione and Ron quickly step in front of Harry as Scabbers jumps out of my hand, landing on the bite sinking his claws into it. I scream in pain and Cedric pulls the rat off me. Joe quickly carries me over to the old bed and places me down. He places his left hand on the wound and closes his eyes. "Pass me the rat Cedric. It's for the best." Uncle Sirius snaps. "NEVER!" Cedric yells, pointing his wand at our Uncle. "Expelliarmus!" Another voice yells and Cedric's wand is sent flying across the room. I look up to see Professor Lupin. I start feeling light headed and close my eyes. I hear yelling as I pass out.

I open my eyes to see Harry standing over me with a concerned look in his eye. I sit up quickly and he lays me back down. "Careful. One of the guys from Durmstrang is here to get you because he found out you were here. We have to head over to him and he's taking you back there." Harry explains, lifting me up. I cuddle into him and give him small smile. "I love you Harry." I state. "I love you too Rosa. I'll talk to you when you get back to your notebook." He says, passing me to Frankston. "Krum said you weren't in your room when he went to tell you that you had to head to practice so I came to find you." He states in his funny accent. "Oops." I laughat him. He quickly floos us to our school and runs toward the school Quidditch Pitch.

I wipe the mud off my face and laugh at Krum. "I JUST DESTROYED YOU!" I cheer at the top of my lungs. He shakes his head and we head into the changing rooms.

I pack the bludgers into their box and Viktor carries it inside. "The official was amazed by your talent. Ireland is going to be lucky to have you on their team." He states, patting me on the back. I smile up at him. "I was trained by one of the best seekers out there." I smirk at him as I close the gate.

I watch as a group walks into the the courtyard holding a few bags and a broom each. I squeal and collect all of the books for my classes today. I run out of my room and head down to the Meal Hall.

"VIKTOR THE VIKING VEELA!" I call as I spread my vines through the Institute while running through the corridors. "ROSALYN THE RADICAL ROCKET!" He yells in horror as I wrap the vines around him and run away. I burst out laughing and swing into the Enterance Hall on a vine. I retract all my vines back to me and Viktor is dragged down. "I'M GOING TO GET YOU!" Viktor yells as he stands up and begins to run after me. I use the wind to push myself along as I run away. I run and jump off of Weald's back and fly through the air. "SAVE ME!" I squeal as I swing from the ceiling support to another while Viktor stands under me. "VIKTOR THE VIKING VEELA! CAN'T GET ME NOW!" I call down at him. I swing onto the top of the support and pull the notebook connected to Harry's one once I find a comfortable place to sit. 'HARRY!' I write down quickly. 'ROSA!' He writes back quickly. I laugh and quickly write my answer. 'Are you going to the Quidditch World Cup?' I ask. 'Ron is taking me and Hermione along with his family. Are you going?' Harry quickly replies. 'Well I won't be using a port key like you. But I'll see you all at the match.' I explain. 'Okay. So what are you doing at the moment?' He asks. 'Sitting the roof's support beams trying to avoid Krum because he wants to kill me.' I say. 'Ron just me an Owl. See you at the cup.' He says and I write a quick goodbye.
